Honestly, almosy every order I have gotten from this place has arrived hot and tasty. I'm a pretty picky eater and I was surprised especially after seeing such bad reviews. I've only gotten one order where it wasn't cooked good and it came cold and they made it right. ?♀️ Sad to see others haven't had a good experience.
I paid $55 for about $15 worth of food based on the portions. Potato was supposed to have sauce on it and came dry with very little on it. I hate to leave a poor review, but the lack of portions are ludicrous.
One word describes this place “AWFUL”, I couldn’t even finish. I would say if I had to use another it would be tasteless. Ribs- they may have been pretty tender but they totally lacked any flavor, the meat was like a dry fried pork chop, sauce was so-so and if (I doubt it) used a rub at all it didn’t penetrate. Corn- canned corn with bacon blah. Coleslaw- tasted off. Mac&cheese - just barely better than the box stuff. And last the potato- boring, it had some mild flavor on top but again nothing penetrated into the heart of the potato !! I waited so long to try this place and I was sadly disappointed!!!!!
Never again!! The Bar-B-Q was burned. I have pictures. Plus, they gave me unseasoned canned green beans. Nasty!! Never again!
Let me start off by saying, I cannot leant a review for the one being ran out of Smokey Bones. However, I can see similarities in my order done there.Ribs were so incredibly dry. What soft portions I did find were nothing but fat. Wings are small, and almost slimey. They forgot my waffle fries, and the hush puppies are nothing to write home about. The Mac and Cheese for some reason had an apple piece in it? Some kind of cinnamon apple. I will NOT be ordering from there ever again. Also knowing this came from Smokey Bones kitchen, makes me question ever going there again too.
I mean, nothing had its own flavor. Like I get it. It’s smoked but where was the Smokey taste. Even the okra was bland. The Mac and cheese was cheesy but the flavor profile was just noodles and cheese. The corn was good but it was basically Corn and Bacon. No seasonings...
Food was awful! I wish i would of read the reviews before. Everything salty, and salmon was dry. Rice was even more dry. 0/5 would not recommend.
We have had it door dash three times and the first time was amazing second time was even better I had same.thing galf rack with collard greens wished they used ham hocks more flavor but was good I didnt like mac and cheese but pot salad was good. Third time was ok they was like they waa in hurry gave me.burnt meat rice was amazing and collard greens wish they put more sauce on like they did second time but overall a 7/10 we are getring it again fourth time tonight so hopefully they do us well
Horrible. Let start with the fact that we ordered almost 50 dollars in food and we were missing 2 sides and we orders a 13 count rack of ribs and only recieved 7. In top of that, I tried to nicely call them to inform them that the order was short and we wouldn't mind waiting for the rest to be delivered if they could correct it. Well, thats very difficult to do when there's NO CONTACTS NUMBER. You have to send them an email. I searched the internet far and wide to find a way to contact them and its not possible. I went to check Google contact info one mlre time and its non existent. Being scammed out of money is not ideal. Id also like to note that we ordered what was advertised as a fried chicken basket and recieved 1 piece of fried chicken.... this place is not going to get a second visit because at this point I'm extremely annoyed. Over priced food that doesnt show up when you pay for it and a business that gives you a big middle finger if you want to reach them. You'd think they'd care even a little about their reputation. Always read your Google reviews is my lesson learned. Theres a reason most the reviews are negative. Terrible experience and we WONT be back. Thanks for a huge rip off Ember smoked bbq. Id give you 0 stars if I could.
Terrible all the way around.. Ordered the Badass Brisket and Brisket hush puppies. I never got the hush puppies and the Badass Brisket was any thing but badass.... It was more or less a stale bun with some barbeque sauce on it, brisket was near nonexistent, the pickles and onion were no where to be found. $13 for a sandwich with less meat than a value menu hamburger from McDonald's...
