Hour and 10 minutes to get our food from the time we sat down. My husband's food was room temp. My food was really good but also mediocre in temp. We ordered a bean dip at the same time we ordered our entrees and the waitress assumed we wanted the bean dip as an appetizer and held off on putting the order in for our entrees without asking us when we wanted everything ..2nd time this has happened with the same waitress. Clarification as to when you want your meal and or appetizer....not to assume.... would be helpful. There were 2 tables that arrived after us and were finished eating before we even got our dinners. So I have to assume our waitress dropped the ball on putting in our food order. We asked to speak to a manger and were informed that our waitress was the manger....once the bill came we received a free 4.00 beer. Charged for 2 Azteca squeezes, the bean dip, and both entrees. We felt a more appropriate credit should have been given. Azteca is my husband's favorite restaurant and he has even said he has no desire to go back for a long time. We have had not so good service before and the food or salsa has been off a few times but he's never NOT wanted to go back until this last visit.
Delicious, hot food and cool drinks! Went here for my birthday with my immediate family and had the fish tacos and they were amazing. My daughters actually ate their food! Great family atmosphere.
Celebrated end of tax season with a wonderful meal and service at El Azteca. My parents discovered them in the 1970's and we return as often as we can and are never disappointed. So glad you came out the other side of COVID.
The WORST place, choose elsewhere. The staff is incompetent. The bartender was rude due to drink ordered was too salty. Woman bartender came by table about 10 minutes later and stared me down. The waitress told us that kitchen/staff was a mess. Couple next to us just got up & left. Horrible, horrible experience. I’d heard it was a good place, I was terribly disappointed & so was my sister.
My friends and I went out to eat and decided to eat here. Our server was Natalie and she did a phenomenal job! She kept checking in on us and did an overall great job!
Great and friendly service. Chips were fresh and warm and the salsa had great flavor. The fajitas we had were great and there was plenty.
Staff is super friendly and very helpful. The place is very authentic. Extremely clean and spacious. Amazing prices and super delicious food!
El Azteca is definitely an institution and Mom has always chosen to celebrate her birthday there. Great location and ample parking. Good service, friendly and welcoming. We sat in one of the back rooms, our party of seven and another couple were the only ones in the small room, which made it very intimate and "felt safe" not to be in a large room full of other dinners. However, the food is not as flavorful as I had hoped. The salsas too mild and unseasoned for my taste. I can see this style would be very appealing to people who prefer milder flavors. The children's menu was great, offering generous portions of chicken tenders and American food choices.
Went in to order take out. The food is not what I remember. Prices are higher than what they used to be but with prices going up can’t blame them. However the service left a lot to be desired. Bartender really didn’t seem like she wanted to be there. Took my order haphazardly so when I thought my food was all in one bag it wasn’t. Called back to ask about the shortage I got a snotty “well you can and come and get it” over the phone.The service was poor as no one was in the restaurant and you would think the people packing the food would have checked the ticket to make sure all the food was there. Guess the service that used to be excellent is not reliable anymore. Won’t be going back anytime soon if ever. LaLos is much better
Was great food and drinks. The waitress was awesome. Good was hot and very delicious as u can see from the pictures we ate almost all!! This is are new Mexican restaurant!
