Our reservations were taken by someone who sat a our table. Then they sat us at a dirty table. Both ordered blue cheese with our wings and they sent us 1. When told we got 1, waitress said that was for both of us to share. Brought an apitizer that wasn't ours (took it back) , brought us a drink that wasn't ours. (took it back). Not happy with this bar. Happy with band though. Big caddy daddy! Only reason we'd come here.
This place has gone so far downhill it hurts to see. If a fun night out is your goal, there are many other establishments in NE Fort Wayne that will provide you with a better, safer, more enjoyable night out that won't leave you feeling like you've blown a chance at a good night out.Unfortunately, the best review I can provide about Dupont Bar & Grill & J.D. Lounge in 2022: the exits are clearly marked.
If you are not a smoker, stay away from this place! We sat in a booth and there were 15 people sitting at the bar. They were almost all of them smoking. Several guys in booths. All of them smoking cigars. One waitress/bartender who was always busy at the bar visiting and filling drinks. Waited forever on our food and when it was served it was cold. My wife and I threw all of our clothes in the washing machine the minute we got home. We both smelled like a big cigar! Terrible experience!!
Most of the food is sub-par and service depends on who is behind the bar. We were there on a Wednesday night, with only two other patrons who weren't with our group of five. Everyone's food came out at seperate times, at least 10 min apart, and some items were undercooked/fried. Can't improve what you don't know.
This bar is not my kind of scene BUT if (on a weeknight) you're looking for a low key place and you just want to have a beer, smoke inside, and watch sports you'll probably be happy. One star for my preference but three stars because the service was attentive and friendly and this might be what you're looking for.
I’m poorly rating this business because they care more about making money than the safety of their employees. During a travel warning due to a snowstorm, they were proudly announcing they would be open all day. It’s just another business choosing money over people and we don’t need any more of those.
1st time and last time. If you weren't sitting at the bar, you weren't getting service. Very poor.
Love Depont Bar and Grill.. Great atmosphere. The bartender made the best margaritas. Can't wait to go there again. First time we've ever been there. But I definitely recommend you to go there great time great music great drinks.
Decent food and atmosphere. Smoking allowed.
Poor service. They always close early. They close at 1 am sharp with a bar rail full of people every Friday and Saturday. Every other day you're lucky if they stay open til midnight. Lazy staff its only good if you wanna have a beer and smoke a cig before 11 pm.
