My wife's omelette had gravy that was a thin, tasteless gruel, my rice was bland and had way too much water in it. My salad was sad and the milkshake at the end was mediocre at best.This used to be a decent diner. We won't be back.

I went to Don Halls tonight. I ordered the Big Buster, which I ALWAYS get. The hamburger didn't taste good, it tasted different and thinner. I know it's probably more $ to buy the hamburger that u used to but, it was awful!
Service has really gone downhill for the last few years. Food has never been amazing, just more along the lines of comfort food. This last visit, about every other item was not available (I get it, supply issues) but half the meals coming to the table were also wrong. Waitress didn't come to refill drinks or when flagged ran off. The place could use a tuneup as well (Cleaning and brightening). Giving 2 stars because I still have hope for the place.
Haven't been there in a while so I hope things aren't going downhill but this was really sad. The burger had way too much garlic powder on it and barely any bbq sauce, the onion rings were more onion crumbles and none of it was close to warm. I can get this kind of meal from fast food for a lot less.
Food was inedible and tasted like old, dirty grease. Restaurant was filthy under the tables, tabletops and the booths and chairs, and it looked like the windows had not been dusted and cleaned in years. The bathroom had sticky floors and the ladies sanitary napkin trash looked like it hadn't been emptied for awhile. I can only imagine what their kitchen looked like. Only saving grace of this locale was the friendly waitress. I won't be back.

The service has gone way down hill! I’ve been goin there for 25+ years and never this bad!! I see why there all closing! Bye and good riddance!
Just got this home. Disappointed this burned burger and bun passed quality control.Stuff happens, i get it. Waited awhile for it but would have been willing to wait longer for one that was not burned.
While the food was well priced and decent, the atmosphere and decor was comparable to a pancake house, not a Hollywood drive in. The experience was mediocre at best, there's plenty of other places to enjoy in the immediate area when traveling from out of town.
