We had a group of about 12 people and we were all pretty happy including kids! I got a Burrito Sabroso (shredded beef.) It tasted super authentic, maybe a recipe similar to mole. It was nice and big too; I was full after about 2/3 of it. And it came with rice AND beans AND a couple avocado slices on the pico de gallo. I've been to places that only give you one of those three things. The salsa was hotter than average and had a good flavor. The atmosphere was good, a high ceiling and super cool tables, benches, and chairs. Maybe darker than usual. Tables not too close together. The bathroom sinks were really cool! Painted clay or something similar. Our server was really nice and even cleaned up a kids spill with a mop.

Very poorly organized, we had made reservations weeks ahead of time and they were nowhere near prepared for us, they had our name and listed for 18 people, table was only set up for 12. The food was really good, the service, not so much. Waitress kept forgetting things when she had it all written down. All in all, I would like to go back with a smaller group as I know from experience big groups can be a little daunting.

Margaritas were very disappointing. Couldn't tell they had any alcohol in them. The fajitas were good, but service was also lacking. Our waitress never stopped to ask how our food was. We spoke to her a total of two times. First for our drink order and then to order our food. We also never got the water we asked for with the drinks. Someone else brought the food out and when we were done eating, she never came to the table so someone else had to bring us the bill.

I have yet to have a BAD experience here!! Service was a tad under par at this visit, but typically it's great!! Food is always amazing!! Drinks are usually perfect too, this visit the Dr. Pepper was a little too syrupy, but all in all we will always come back!! We will always recommend Don Chava's to anyone looking for "good Mexican food"!!

This is a pretty decent Mexican restaurant. The menu is somewhat similar to Bandidos or Cebollas. The food was good and the service was friendly. We were here during the weekend, so the atmosphere was lively. I didn’t partake in any alcoholic beverages on this visit. However, others in my party did and were pleased with what they got. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves and will certainly be returning here.

The food quality isn't the same as it used to be and the lady kept trying to charge me for things I didn't get. I don't plan on going back again.

Always a favorite! Get a Raspberry Daquiri to go with a large Queso and a Guadalajara and you'll be happy!

My friends and I had a good dinner here before a play. The food and drinks were good. It was very clean. The staff was friendly and efficient.

This place very clean...The food absolutely delicious...The waitress we had very friendly..

If you've been there then you know excellent food no matter what you order . . . .
