Was not happy at all, my 10 year old ordered a burger w no cheese when they brought our food his had cheese on it, then the waiter noticed and said oh let me take back and fix it. 20 minutes later everyone else was finished and my son finally got his correct food. No one seemed like they cared this was a problem as a parent I want my kids to eat first! Couldn't get refills on water, service all around was not great at all. Our original waiter disappeared no where in sight! No manager to be seen to speak too! Person at registered dismissed everything I said to them. I usually don't have horrible experiences but this one had me livid!
This was our second time here in the past few months. Both times were a disappointment. Food was fine, but the wait time was crazy. The first time, we sat for nearly 30 minutes before we even ordered. It was another 30 to get our food. This second time was similar. We were able to order fairly quickly, but it was 50 minutes before our food came to the table. Both times I was wishing we had gone somewhere else. Next time we will.
We had a wonderful experience this morning. Our waitress, Gracie, was very attentive to our table and made sure our drinks were always replaced just before they ended and was quick to respond to all requests. Our food was delicious and brought out quickly for such a large group. The overall experience was great!
Friday evening and they were not busy. We (my daughter-in-law and granddaughter) waited 30 minutes and noone came. My daughter-in-law asked a busboy to get our server or the manager as it had been 30 minutes. A man came, apologizing and said he would have a server at our table immediately. Another wait. Finally a server came apologizing. We asked for 2 water with lemon right away and gave our drink orders. She then asked if I had my ID with me. I am a 75 year old white haired grandmother!! I just looked at her. I changed to a tea. She then asked if we were ready to order. We asked that the water to come immediately. 1 water and my drink came. We ordered. The food came. My mashed potatoes were cold, the gravy was hot. Then here came a woman who said she was the manager and they were out of the baked squash!! They did comp the sweet potato as an "upgrade". What a night!!! We could have understood if they had been busy. I will NOT be going back.
It started great the Hostess was friendly. But that's the end of any greatness. We set at a two top with only one chair. Right next to the fire exit which the alarm sounded. After waiting about 12 minutes I'd stop somebody to ask him to grab my server he got my drinks for me then I sat approximately 20 more minutes and ask somebody else to get my server. She arrived she apologized said that she thought somebody else had taken tail because I had drinks at my table. 30 minutes later I got my food I request the manager. I didn't get it the name but believe me I wouldn't want to remember it anyway he was rude and acting as if I was in the wrong. When he brought me the check try to + sell me and do he did give me a discount for my troubles he was extremely rude due to the fact that I was still unhappy. They serve our silverware in one basket, I don't even know the person I was eating with I don't want them touching my silverware. Also served biscuits on one plate with one bowl of gravy for both of us. I really don't remember Cracker Barrel being this way but unfortunately it means I'll have to go to another city if I want Cracker Barrel.
Fast service food was good and had a good portion
Had wonderful service this morning, and great conversation with our waitress. I would eat here again, and recommend you ask for Priscilla she was so attentive. For such a young age she really blows some of these long timers out of the water! great personality and just wonderful experience all around can't wait to go back. will defiantly request her from now own.
The wait was quite long for a Sunday afternoon but was well worth it. The service was great and the food came quickly and tasted great. Even when my bacon wasn’t as crisp as I’d prefer they took it make to cook it a little more. Great job!
Ordered our food for curbside pickup and followed there instructions on checking on. Waited 15 minutes nothing so I called they apologized and said their online check in wasn't working and brought our food out. The food was cold. You could tell it was just sitting without being kept in a warmer.
The grilled catfish and turnip greens were very good, the buttermilk biscuits, mashed potatoes, and macaroni and cheese were good, the steamed broccoli was okay, and the chicken and dumplings, while visually remarkable, were poor. Our wait staff was very personable, but the host forgot to bring us silverware, or seat us at a table with salt and pepper. I'd prefer an experience where both entrees are edible, above all else, but silverware helps.
