Those who really know me, understand my deep passion for an outstanding salad bar. Well, Cork ‘n Cleaver delivered: the salad bar selection was 10/10–everything you’d need was available, including jelly bellies (a carry over from the previous owner). With respect to the steak selection, you’d think you were in a metropolitan area. We ate at the bar and the service was outstanding, not to mention my center cut Ny strip was cooked to perfection!!
Absolutely delicious filet mignon for me and prime rib for my girlfriend. A superb salad bar complete with caviar even, a beyond professional staff, an absolute perfect steakhouse. You couldn't ask for anything more. That was my first visit 5 days ago and it definitely lives up to its reputation!!!
On March 7th my family went to Cork and Cleaver on a whim. I really miss the salad bar at Ruby Tuesdays and remember that the one there was really good. Pros. The wait staff was excellent and the restaurant is beautiful. Cons. The salad bar had less stuff on it than Ruby Tuesdays and cost twice as much.The clam Gouda dip had no flavor and my husband Prime Rib was select if that. It had no flavor and absolutely no marbling. I think we could of got a better piece of beef at Golden Corral. The drinks were very weak and my son asked if his martini had anything in it. We will not be going back
Incredible experience all around. The prime rib and salad bar are a must! Wonderful selection of wines and cocktails. Beautiful ambience that is warm and inviting but also elegant. Emily provided excellent service.
Great NY, salad bar and Martini. I used to love the Cork ‘n Cleavers back in the day, when they were all over the place, a few decades ago. When I happened upon this place while driving through Ft. Wayne, I couldn’t resist. Blast from the past. Anyway, glad I stopped. Very nice dinner.
Get the mud pie!! We took our dessert to go and boy was I glad I didn't pass on it. It was so delicious!! Oreo crust, mocha ice cream, chocolate fudge on top with whipped cream and shaved almonds, yum!!
Had a delicious meal with 2 good friends. I had the salmon, they had steaks. All our meals were delicious! The Cork's salad bar is unbeatable. Our waiter Terry gave superior service to us! We all left saying we really need to do this more often!
Coffee crusted steak is great. Vanilla cinnamon butter, awesome. Garlic mushrooms, amazing.
Fine dining alert! Fine dining alert! Cork and Cleaver's was a wonderful dining experience! The food was amazing from appetizer, to dessert. We did have only a minor challenge with the soup, but the waitress made it right immediately and the second option was absolutely spectacular. The service was prompt and on point! When back in the Ft Wayne area I will definitely go back!
Just wanted thank Chelsee for the wonderful customer service for my wife and I celebrating our 41st anniversary. We have been coming to Cork n Cleaver for 39 of those 41 years and the service and food have always been the best. Would highly recommend this place !
