Called about having my daughter's Sweet 16th birthday there. We are here from Florida visiting family and told the person I talked to that there would be 20+ people coming. Told didn't take reservations but they would do what they could. To make a long story short, whoever the hostess and employees that worked that evening(June 30th @ 6:30) went above and beyond to make her night special. I believe our waitress was Emily. Hopefully, I got her name right. She was amazing! Everyone was awesome!!! Thank you Cheddars for an amazing get together for our family and celebrating our daughter!!!!
Great staff! Food was delicious. I had steak and shrimp. When you get there, they give you a buttered croissant, which is also delicious!
We had a great experience here! Our server, I believe her name was Grace possibly, was so kind and amazing! I have a lactose allergy and the manager came over to our table and helped me navigate the menu and let me know what did or didn’t have dairy in it. Food was great and would definitely come back again next time we’re around!
We went with a large group (10 people) on a Monday evening. They do not take reservations, so we had to wait 10 minutes, which wasn't bad.Pros:Food tasted excellentServer was kindServer kept my water fullCons:The window was drafty and the ladies sitting next to it were very uncomfortable.Service was really slow. The meal took a solid 1.5 hours in order to get our receipt and credit cards back.One of the other ladies in my group had a hair in her salad. It was quickly replaced.Now, this is in 2022. I'm sure they were short staffed which can explain the slow experience and hair in food, but I feel the need to be honest in my review. My food was super tasty and I will happily go again.
I had the lemon-pepper grilled whitefish with carrots and southern green beans, and my partner got the chicken tenders with broccoli.l and fries. The service was quick. The carrots were naturally sweet, and my partner enjoyed her fries. Everything else was uninspiring. The whitefish was a very mildly seasoned, but the beans were punishingly bland. The fried chicken was perfectly flaky but tasted like nothing, as though neither the chicken nor the breading were seasoned. The broccoli arrived cool, so it definitely got steamed too early and then sat waiting for the rest of our food. We were excited to try Cheddars, but this was a disappointment.
I have been here twice and both times were awful. The first time the host sat us and no servers came to our table for 15 minutes so we left. The second time was the REALLY bad one. They had a 20 minute wait so they took our number down. After 20 minutes had come and gone we went up to the host stand and they had forgotten to write our number down. Once the host sat us at our table we waited a long time before anyone asked what we wanted to drink. Once they got our drink order it took a long time to get the drinks. The plates that they gave us for the appetizers had food from the previous users on them. I had chicken tenders which weren't bad, but the fries were somewhat soggy. My friends got burgers and said it tasted like a plain piece of meat on a bun, no flavor at all. The floor was pretty dirty. All around, this restaurant does jot have it together.
The service was so so, yet not necessarily bad, BUT the food was beyond excellent! I don't drink, so the waitress was kind even enough to make me a fresh pot of coffee at 7 p.m. A lovely interior and bar area, and reasonably priced. I do recommend it for date night or otherwise.
We've been to Cheddars twice. First time was for lunch, we had the Country fried chicken, it was A+ awesome. Second time, was for dinner and we decided on burgers, sadly it was not the best. I am a burger person and was expecting a handmade, juicy burger not the frozen tasteless one I got.
Wow! I can't say enough. This was all around the best restaurant experience I've had in 2 years. The service was incredibly exceptional. Prompt, attentive, friendly. The food came out amazingly fast, tasted incredible. Waitress was on point with drinks. Just wow. Highly recommend. This was 12:30pm on a Saturday, even!
We were told the wait would be 35-40 minutes, but is was more like an hour. The waitress is doing a good job. They are understaffed, like every other place. The dirt on the floor, in the pic, has been there since we got here and no one seems very worried about it. The food is good.
