Food was okay.. Wish these Mexican restaurants would season their food. Service was good.
The girl who passed chips was named yazmin. She was so nice and said she loved my necklace. I recommend coming here to eat as the staff is so nice and the food is good too !!
Well I gave it two stars and I hate doing that to places. My husband and I always try to give them the benefit of the doubt. This has been our go to Mexican restaurant since we’ve moved here in May. However, every time we’ve come in the service has been terrible. Tonight the waitress never refilled our drinks or chips. There was another waitress standing in the corner staring at us the entire time. Made us a little uncomfortable and when we had a question about our food she shrugged her shoulders at us. I gave it two stars because of how fast the food came out. I am very bummed. We ordered à la crate to grab a quick bite before heading home and I don’t think she appreciated that. What a bummer. I’m very sad about this.

I go to Cebolla's enough to have experienced all times of day. I enjoy the food and convenient location. Unfortunately, there is very little ability or effort to ask for a change on an order (too complicated or 'not in the computer'). Anyone who says the staff is excellent had a margarita (or two, or three) first. Asking for a napkin is an imposition. Asking for food to be well heated is an insult. And ALL of the staff tell you to take your bill to the register - when they have been told to assist customers table side. Washrooms are neglected. Cebolla's would be a GREAT place to go to if a little attention were paid to the customer's every day experience. Oh, and prices have gone up .. while portions have decreased (and the cost of a soft drink should be embarrassing).
For like 20 years, Cebolla's has served some of the tastiest Mexican food experiences I have eaten in 48 states. It isn't that the food is more authentic or that there are dishes on the menu that only a Mexican local who has lived in the many regions Mexico would recognize, it is the simple fact that Cebollas serves a menu that has been adjusted for the midwest American palate. We don't leave the restaurant with heartburn, or your mouth in flames, and the food you eat just makes you want to come back for more. Areas for improvement? Freshen up your antiquated decor and deep clean. Come out with a monthly menu. Give us a few more salsa options (yes your current salsa is a homerun, but I'd love to have some other choices). How about some Birria, Barbacoa, Pollo al Carbon or Carne Asada? Or some authentic Mexican street tacos? Personally, I like cebollitas, it would be nice to offer a small plate of them to order. I'd love to see some exciting desserts to finish the meal. Fort Wayne has become more worldly since the early days when you started and you have a lot more competition, time to show us why you are the #1 Mexican restaurant in Fort Wayne.
Their food used to be great but now it is bland and the meat is soggy. Their service is still great.
