Finally tried Blaze Pizza. I ordered a customized pizza and their fresh berry salad. The pizza was so so good! It tasted fresh and pretty cheap for what I chose to put in it. I love it and I wish I tried this place a long time ago. Their fresh berry salad is officially my favorite thing in the world! I would definitely be back. Craving for it now. Great service!
Ordered a simple cheese pizza on my lunch break. The pizza was hot and delivered on time.Okay, Pizza review.First bite had some good cheese, and slight crunch that you expect in a thin crust. The cheese being mozzerla and parmesan has a different flavor profile than a regular cheese pizza, and is good infact. They had an adequate amount of cheese applied. The crust was baked well, supported the pizza (which I like) and had a nice light crunch to it. The biggest let down of this pizza is the overall lacking of sauce. The sauce flavor was actually fairly good, but it was thinly applied and because of that you got mostly bread and cheese flavors. That was a let down. Score 6.5/10 (Would have been a high 7 if it wasn't so dry due to lack of sauce.)
Waiting on our pizza to come out of the oven and standing by the counter. An employee runs past us puking on the way to the bathroom before continuing to puke while we can hear her. Comes out while we are still waiting and wipes her mouth on her long sleeve shirt towards the hand and goes straight back to work. Goes behind the counter by the pizza oven and blows her nose on her sleeve, pulls out her cell phone and is taking pictures of the employees working while laughing and continues to touch her face/mouth with her bare hands while now taking credit cards payments. Completely unsanitary and unhygienic. I have never written a negative review for a restaurant but I am absolutely disgusted. I threw my pizza away without even opening it.
The pizza was delicious, I came into blaze with my family. It was really busy but it was as definitely worth the wait! I’ve never had pizza like this before. The employees were all very helpful and friendly. Kennedy was especially helpful, she made it easy for us ordering when we had a group of 10 people. Very nice job
C'mon Blaze!! I thought the purpose of your style of serving customers was to be fast and custom. The employees making the pizzas move at a snail's pace, with a line to the front door. Doesn't appear that they may know or be aware that customers are waiting, and that Blaze is supposed to be somewhat different than the typical pizza places. After waiting in line for 10 min or so, we realized we would be there for quite a while to get our pizza ordered, let alone eaten. So we left. Other Blaze pizza franchise's around the country are fast and aware of the unique design of Blaze, but it does not appear that Fort Wayne does.
Some of the best pizza I've ever had. Perfect amount of sauce and ingredients. The Blood Orange lemonade is really unique and tasty!
Love this place! Seems like this one guy (Bobby) is always there and I'm glad he is! He is always friendly and fun to deal with while showing he knows his stuff! The food is awesome but having a worker like Bobby keeps people coming back! Thank you Blaze (and Bobby)!
Best gluten free pizza in Fort Wayne. However, I’m giving only 3 stars because the ordering process can be slow. They prioritize online orders over the people standing in the restaurant literally staring at them. We jokingly discuss how long of a wait it might be if we go there. Fix these things and it would be a 5 star easy.[CORRECTION]Price per person: $10-$15
Absolutely the worst experience I have had at any restaurant in a very long time! In fact since the last time I came here a year ago and stupid me I thought maybe the service would change! All 4 staff members were so overwhelmed the couldn't focus at all. I waited 25 minutes just to order and I was second in line! Waited another solid 10 minutes to pay while watching 15 pizzas come out of the oven and sit out waiting for the employees to figure out what was going on. The food is fantastic however now I will never be back again!
I stop here for a pizza whenever I am in town for business. The staff has always been pleasant and attentive. The wide variety of options is perfect for me. Every visit has been positive.
