Great fish. Easy carry out. I eat here at least twice a month. My only issue is that baked potatoes are sometimes overcooked. But I switched to hash browns so now everything is great.
I ordered a 2 piece fish dinner and onion rings. The fish tasted "old". It was very dry and rubbery.This was my 2nd time ordering. The last time I also had fish and it was fresh and delicious.
I do NOT like their FRIED COD! . But my daughter said their broiled Cod is good. Pollock is not my favorite kind of fish but if you want fried fish their Pollock is better than their fried Cod.
When you think about breakfast, you may not think of Big Eyed Fish, but they have a decent breakfast menu. The hubby and I always split a pancake for dessert.
Waiter on the way delivery. Was on time, and still hot. However the fish was overcooked and I could only eat part of it. The baked beans were blah. The only good part of the 3 piece fish dinner was the tartar sauce. Used to have delicious fish. This is the second time it was not great. Last time I order from them. I can get better fish at a cheaper price.
Was near work, so decided to dine in. Ordered their special of the day, 2 piece fish, with mac'n'cheese, shrimp skewer, rolls and a drink. Food was cooked great and very flavorful. Staff was great. Parking was challenging. Would stop in again.
Fried pickle starter was good. Ok fried fish, hush puppies and a salad. Boring green beans. Not too busy on a Thursday.
The fish was delish as always BUT it's the service & smiles we live the most! Even on a busy evening BEF always makes room for everyone & keeps the food coming!! We love our waitress... sorry I can't remember her name!! Thanks for making my bro-in-laws birthday great!!♥️
This place is awesome. I have to say This is my go to place and my favorite area. Fort Wayne, A very friendly waitress works there. she always remembers me and my daughter. she's beautiful too. I mean what's not to like about the place
Decent breaded/fried fish. 3 pieces and 2 sides for a little more than $10. Coleslaw was good and the hush puppies were decent. Service was average.
