So my wife and I used door dash and ordered food from this restaurant. Waited an hour for food to arrive and when we open the bags they left my wife’s food out. I called the restaurant and explained to them what we ordered and the lady on the phone said “yes we have it right here”. I said I was aware it was there and that was the problem, we ordered door dash and you guys didn’t give the driver all our food. Basically wasted our money on the delivery and kept our food we paid for. The lady argued with me for several minutes as to how it wasn’t there fault and wasn’t there responsibility apparently to make sure the driver receives my whole order I paid for and paid to have delivered. Then after frustrating me with lack of accountability for not sending my food, the lady’s solution is that “we can come get a free one tomorrow” .. Now here’s the issue with that, WE ALREADY PAID FOR IT AND YOU KEPT IT.. lol so giving us our food the next day doesn’t solve that we’re at home with covid and can’t leave the house and needed that food, nor does it solve the issue that we paid for it and you kept it and wasted our delivery. Why wouldn’t you just spend 5 bucks on a delivery to send it over after we told you we can’t leave the house? Or just deliver it out of courtesy for the mistake?
The food was fresh and authentic. We will be back! Excellent! We noticed several other dishes that look great to try on our next visit.
4 of us decided to try Mi Parrilla. Right off the bat things turned sour. The table we were seated at had sticky stuff all over the table top and chairs. Instead of offering us a different table the gal told us wait while she found someone to clean it off. :-( From there things were pretty much average. Food was okay but nothing special, in fact kind of bland. Will we go back? We'll see.
We were turned in to this place by friends from Mexico. It doesn't look fancy, but the food is awesome. We have tried many different dishes and have never been disappointed. The prices are very reasonable and they have an extensive menu.
