Best Applebees in town just look at my whiskey bacon burger
Scared to use dip on fries,taco was I'ight the pastas u can see dry sweet tea and I'm a diabetic wasn't anything sweet about it had to glasses 2nd was even worse
Today we visited Applebee's and our server at the bar was awesome. But there were 2 greeters that seemed more interested in sitting on the butts playing on their phones. Now most people wouldn't think of this but there were things to be done. The money i pay for my food and drinks helps pay their paychecks. It isn't a game changer but it doesn't look good to see employees sitting playing games on Facebook when there was bits of trash on the floor by the entrance and tables that were lined up for a bus load of tennis players that decided not to stay. The manager had to come get these 2 and tell them to go put the row of tables back like they were for individual families. The manager didnt say a word about them sitting doing nothing on the clock. I'm sure corporate wouldn't approve of that. Several times people had to come get them to have them do things when they should have been up and doing these things anyway. They are lazy. When they did get up to seat people you could see they were clueless as to where to seat them because they were not keeping an idea on where to go. Yes business was slow but that is no excuse. You are paid to work. The servers are all making less than them because again business was slow. But the servers stayed busy taking afvantage of the slowness to clean and do things they cant normally do. The greeters should also.
Went in for dinner this Friday. Got sat and sat there for 10 minutes and no one acknowledged my party. Waited another 5 minute to see if anyone would greet us and it never happened. We sat in the back right of the restaurant in a big booth which made no sense because we only had 3 people. Very disappointed in this experience.
It was great.the service. The food.. The atmosphere just loved everything..i will most definitely make this one my #1.
Not much of a chain restaurant craver, only make it to places like Applebee's a few times a year. It's was fine, nothing wrong, same Alfredo pasta I get on default every time I'm there.Can't remember the waitress' name but she was great, super friendly & quick.
I haven't been to Applebee's in about 15 years. I think I associated this place to a time when I didn't have much money. My hubby and I were pleasantly surprised that the food was crazy good. The drinks were large and the desserts were tasty. The garlic green beans were delicious! Ordered an extra side of them to go.We went late on a Tuesday night so service wasn't an issue.
So we arrive and everyone knows we are a large party. We get told we have to wait because they don’t have enough staff for 9 people. Yet as we sit here waiting they seat 12 people after us. Like in the beginning we told them 2 tables would be fine. Apparently they can’t do mathematics here.
Went for my birthday dinner, broke my tooth on the 1st bite of chips n salsa (not a fan of the new tortilla chips). Was told they're removing onion rings from the app menu,, but they brought us some anyway,, and combo platter was barely enough to keep my 3 teens from chewing their own arms off (small portions for the increase in price.) I think our server was new, so it felt awkward but they did a decent job. The main food came and was all correct and cooked to order, just 1 item missing. The drinks I ordered were the special but when the bill came it was rang up at double the special price, when server went to fix it and brought us a new tab the bill was actually more.. lol, they went back again and corrected it so it was all okay. Mainly disappointed in Applebees corporate for cutting corners, rasing prices, and reducing portions at the same time. This is why we go once every few years now instead of once a month.
