Really good sandwiches! A must stop...
I went here once and I’ll never go back. I ordered quite a bit of food for one person. I like a variety with my breakfast/brunch and was planning to save the second half of my food for the next day. Well, the waiter seemed to think I ordered too much food because he gave me a dirty and judgmental look I’ll never forget. The food was all unseasoned and not warm when it came out. Overall it was not worth the money. Definitely better brunch places in the area.
Great wait staff but the food is just OK. In my experience (YMMV), the sides always arrive ALMOST warm or cold. I've yet to have hot fries, rings or hash browns. Again, the wait staff is top notch which is always appreciated!
I was very disappointed with the food at this place. I ordered the sunrise that came with choice of meat, hash browns, eggs and toast. The hash browns were over cooked and the bacon was very hard. The only thing on my plate that was decent were the eggs. I mentioned to the wait staff about the bacon and she asked if I would like a different choice of meat. I told her ham please, once the ham reached my table I realized it was very thinly slice and also over cooked. I will not be coming back here. Signed disappointed!
Had a great brunch with my husband this morning and our server Alivia was great. She kept a positive and upbeat attitude even when her manager (mid aged female with long hair and glasses) yelled at the staff, “can you all do something right without messing up for once” loud enough for everyone in the restaurant to hear. It was very disrespectful for her to act that way to her colleagues and made the atmosphere very uncomfortable for the customers. There were many children present and the restaurant was packed with a wait. Very disappointed in that behavior but everything else was great.
I've really enjoyed this place. The staff is always nice, the food is always great! Have had omelets, pancakes, French toast - even their corn casserole! Worth a visit or 5.

Forget about the negative reviews you see, there are still some legit managers. I have tried so many managers and I got scammed until I met Mrs patience Adamson, her 100% legit and reliable. We’ve just moved to the area and this was our first time at The Roost. Food was great, wait staff was great. However, the manger(?) loudly berated the staff 4-5 times during our short breakfast. It made for a very uncomfortable atmosphere. For that reason alone, we’re hesitant to go back.
Well, another stop at a Sahms restaurant. Sad to say this one is severely lacking too. The clam cowder tasted like it was broccoli soup with a very small amount of clams...I got the breaded chicken sandwich I will say it was big but overly greasy and the French fries were horribly over cooked in old oil. They couldn't get the order right for the other party in our group, scrambled eggs instead of over easy. There were 3 tables in this place. The server is so inept that they can't Q C an order?? So sad
