Advertised they're open until 9 pm. After driving there they said the kitchen was closed. This was at 8:40. The girl at the cash register said the people working in the kitchen want to go home. Apparently they really close at 8:30. That is what they should advertise their hours as being. Being closed should not be when you WANT to shut your doors but when you actually take that last order. People spend their time and gas money going to a place that indicates they are open. It is actually 8:55 right now and their open sign is still flashing in the window. When I mentioned this to the girl at the register she was not apologetic at all and merely ignored me. This restaurant may have good food but I was unable to try it. One thing I do know...they are not open for business as advertised , and rude.
Thai Kitchen Restaurant - One of those places you decide to go to where you can be pretty confident in the dining experience as well as available vegan options. I had the Volcano Chicken which is one of the "House Specials" - I ordered it in the "Hot" variant. Even though the name is volcano and I got it in the hot heat level it would make you think they'd reconsider the name of the dish. The dish had a very mild heat level in my opinion. I am fully aware I'm dining in Tabby & Karen's neighborhood of Fishers so what seems mild to me might be scorching hot to Tabby and unbearable for Karen. The quality of the dish was quite nice. The chicken was crispy and the rice and veggies were cooked very good. I do personally think flavor was slightly lacking. My girlfriend settled for the yellow curry with tofu. Surprisingly, her tofu curry had more flavor than my own dish and it was also quite good. We shared some tofu salad rolls as an appetizer which are a pretty good light appetizer. The service was 7/10 - when walking in the host/server wasn't all that polite and I think she assumed we were carryout people. The server wasn't incredibly polite and but not rude - I think she can improve - Now, the drink refill girl was on top of our drinks and I do praise that. All in all this is a good dining experience but I do wish the service were just a bit more polite and the food have just a bit more flavor. Will I come back here? Yes, however, Thai Ocha is closer to me, cheaper, and in my experience the flavor is better. But! I've only experienced this establishment one time - the environment is much nicer. I do look forward to returning and giving Thai Kitchen another try.A straight forward review? Not funny review this time? Yes!- Your friendly neighborhood local guide
First time been hereNice atmosphere, server is helpfull and always check out drinks. The food has rich of flavour, and asked them extra hot and thats on point. Their iced thai tea green tea also on point. They also have outdoor seating, but since the weather still cold enough they dont use the patio yet. But generaly very reccomended restaurant
The food was meh, unfortunately. The service for pickup was a disaster. Wonder why the person at the counter could not add smiles. Got pad thai noodles and chicken tiger. Both were not good, the meat was overcooked and dry. Chef’s special sea food entree was nice tasting but the portion of seafood in the entree was for a small boy. Overall, for around 55 dollars of lunch money we got a disappointing service and subpar thai food.
I got the Thai Fried rice spice level: extra hot. I usually go to Thai station but they're closed today. I'm disappointed with my food today because my rice is not warm and it's not the spice level I requested my rice is over cooked there are big chunks of rice stuck together and the taste is off. Oh and my shrimp is over cooked :( I wish I could bring Thai Kitchen a plate of fried rice from Thai station the difference is ridiculous.
Hadn't eaten all day and wanted to get some food before I donated blood. Bad decision to choose this restaurant. Service was very poor and unhappy waitress tonight..actually no one was smiling working there. Tom Ka soup was sickening way too sugary sweet and spring rolls were way over cooked and dripping with oil with very little filling. Waitress asked if wanted a box and when I informed her the spring rolls were inedible after one bite she said nothing. Not really sure why I felt compelled to pay my bill but I did and left. The cashier was my waitress and was sassing me as I said nothing else and walked out the door leaving her no tip, which is VERY rare from me. When I arrived to give blood, i heard similar stories of inedible food and sad service. How is this restaurant still in business? YUK. Never again.
The place was small but clean and had excellent Thai food . It was busy during our visit and they only had 2 waitstaff. Despite being busy , the staff were very efficient and we did not have to wait long for our food. I ordered a small bowl of soup with clear noodles and ground pork and vegetables. For appetizers , we had fried Thai Eggrolls and chicken satay with peanut sauce . My husband had Pad Thai and my son had the chicken mango curry . Overall, we had a very satisfying dining experience and everything was delicious.
Today the food was decent as usual but our server was rude and short- tempered. One of our party had a difficult time deciding what to get and we asked the server to come back in a few minutes. The server brought the other two entrees before she took the final order. We have eaten his place a dozen times but it has gone down hill.
Food was ok. My pad Thai was medium but had no spice at all. I asked for extra peanuts, didn’t get them had to ask again. The service was terrible. It wasn’t busy as it was a Tuesday afternoon, after lunch time. The two servers acted like it was a chore to take our orders, rude, short, and overall unpleasant. One and done visit for us.
Found a bug in my red curry. I ordered from DoorDash. We called the restaurant and they didn’t seem to care. They offered to have us pick up a new curry. I said no and reported it to the health department.
