This was the weirdest bourbon chicken we’ve ever tried from any restaurant. The sauce was saltier than it was sweet. It tasted like a tempura sauce base—like the tempura sauce you get from Japanese restaurants. The chicken used were the super thin slices instead of the meaty chunks that most places use for this dish. I’m giving four stars cause our friends said their pork egg roll, Chicken lo mein, and beef and broccoli were all good. I have no idea what their other stuff is like and don’t want to bring a small business’s rating down. Just stay away from the bourbon chicken.
YES substitution! Change fried rice to house special lo main, no problem; change dark chicken to white chicken, no problem, change pork egg roll to shrimp egg roll, no problem! The atmosphere is typical Chinese carryout establishment. The food actually has flavor, and is customizable with options, instead of hearing no substitution, its YES substation! You will pay a little extra but get what you want. Their shrimp is actually good too. When I need a quick fix on Chinese, I go hear.
I ordered the fried dumplings , fried rice & Dark meat , medium general tso chicken. While the rice was good, the general tso chicken was not. Absolutely no crunch at all! Was very soggy. Just like the other review wrote. If I ever come here again it will probably only be for the fried rice. The dumplings were … okay probably 4 out of 10.
No knock to the people as I know people have off days/nights sometimes but unfortunately, this visit was very below average (C-). The food was pretty flavorless and the general tso chicken was soggy and not crunchy at all. The food was edible but not enjoyable.
I have lived in Fishers for 10 years, searching for a great Chinese restaurant for take-out, as I’ve had award winning Chinese restaurants in both Minneapolis & Memphis when I lived there.Yesterday, l found my coveted Chinese restaurant (Lucky Dragon!) after having to endure literally dozens of bad experiences with other Chinese restaurants poor food quality, flavorings, glow in the dark sauces, etc. It’s fully staffed by Chinese descendants who know what they’re doing. Don’t let the food pictures on the wall fool you - everything is made from scratch. They’ll tell you 10 - 15 minutes to get your order ready, but plan on 30 minutes. It will be worth the wait.Don’t confuse this location with the Lucky Dragon on Commercial Blvd. in Fishers - it’s the same restaurant name, but very different food quality. Oh, insist on giving them a name for your order to make it easier to identify at pickTry it! You won’t be disappointed!
Good food at good price! Basically to take out.
1 HOUR 20 MINS, that's how long it took for them to realize they somehow canceled my order. Went up to ask about my food several times and was LIED to several times "it'll be done in 10mins". Many 10mins has passed and until we asked for a refund then they actually checked the order. Got the refund with no other reimbursement with the time wasted. Went home hungry and furious.
Very professional and a good sanitary environment. I hadn’t been to a buffet in over a year, and I think I’ll be returning to this one often. Fair prices and kind employees.
Filthy front door, filthy floor, filthy ceiling fan, filthy bathroom, kid working counter and taking care of another kid, spring rolls were greasy, chicken strips were dry like jerky, pork fried rice had no pork, lo mein had funky flavor. Gross overall. Nasty overall. Waste of time and money overall.
I wish i could give the place 0 stars smh worse Chinese food I’ve had in a long time..my chicken wings were burnt and i wasn’t able to eat them my pork fried rice the pork was mostly fat the teriyaki chicken was DISGUSTING as well as the general tso chicken ! I wouldn’t recommend eating this made me nauseous very greasy
