It is so unfortunate that the food quality has gone down so much. While I haven't been to the buffet recently, I hear that it's quite sparse. When we ordered carry-out, the food was honestly unpalatable. It was greasy and tasted undercooked. I don't know if this is a supply change issue or if they changed owners, because this used to be the best Chinese place in town. It's hard to find Chinese food that fits your tastes. This place had it, then it lost it. Unfortunately, the best place to find good Chinese is Happy Dragon in Noblesville.
For years our family enjoyed dragon house dine in almost weekly. Since covid I don't go out to eat much anymore but delivery from here still supplies the same great food we remember. My favorite is stir fry green beans. Always the perfect texture and level of spice. And rangoons are by far the best in town. We would be very sad if dragon house ever closed.
Been coming here for 20 years and this lady is the sole reason I will never return. Came here with my wife and 4 year old. My wife had already eaten and wasn’t going to eat. My wife went up to scoop my sons plate and this lady screamed at her for stealing. We explained the situation that she was scooping food for our 4 year old and she rolled her eyes. She continued to stare at our table the rest of our meal. When I went up to get my son ice cream at the end of our meal she told me he was the only one allowed to eat it. Awfully bold for someone who has a stolen Kroger shopping cart in the middle of her dining room that she is using lol.
Consistently decent food here. It is traditional Chinese and they are challenged with cleanliness at times. Overall food has been decent service has been great.
Good food wish they had more than a couple egg rolls on the buffet but if your looking for a good priced Chinese restaurant this is the place.
My Whole family threw it away and order a pizza. Tastes terrible worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Soggy slimy chicken, egg roles were burnt and rice tasted funny. Do they take the left over buffet food and sell it as take out? Stay away from this place.
We were thankful they were open later in the evening. Nice variety on the buffet. I miss the ice cream machine.
We visited late in the lunch schedule so I am taking that into consideration in my review.Post-Covid there's not enough Chinese food buffets operating to my liking so we appreciate one when we find one. This one only has has a single steam table gondola so you won't be overwhelmed with choices but most were good nonetheless. The soups were hot, fresh, and flavorful. You may need to mix and match proteins and vegetables to make your plate but we were able to get our fill.
We have come to this restaurant for the past 15 years and it seems lately within the last year and a half that the buffet quality has gone way down. If your hungry and need to get in and out quick this place is OK. If you’re looking for good food this is the place to skip. The people are very nice but I don’t know what’s going on they seem like they have laxed their standards a lot.
This place is good but it's missing something I can't place to be good Chinese-American food. Maybe they don't use MSG? If so I think if they cooked with some of that wonderful MSG seasoning it would be a 5 star place. Fresh buffet food and the meat feels and taste like meat.
