I guess my expectations were set on a 4-5. I have been trying to find a quality Chinese Restaurant for years, since the Chinese restaurant on 70th and Keystone went under.General Chao was lack luster… same thing different Chinese restaurant. The rice was just okay. The grab Rangoon are okayThe pot stickers were doughy.
$11 these days is a fair price.Sadly I ordered pork egg flying. The pork (90%) was Rae to barely cooked. Blood in the eggs. Not my idea of a good meal...?
Best beef and broccoli I have ever had!! Great flavor and the beef was so tender but the broccoli wasn’t soggy! 10/10.
Updated review: I unfortunately got sick after eating one time. Their food is very likely fine, and it was likely an isolated incident. The Manager responded here and took this very seriously when reported to them. Even checked their food stock. For the manager: I did not have to go to the hospital, I had care at home for a few days from my partner thankfully! I'll probably hesitate to order from your restaurant again, but I can understand this was an isolated incident.
I have ordered here at least 50 times and every time it's been amazing. We have some picky eaters in the family and have to special order some of the dishes, and they never mess it up! It's generally very fast, but they can get busy at peak times. It's worth it if you have to wait, though!
Not impressed. I'm a fan of local Chinese food and this one was not good. Fried rice was the yellow rice, not actual fried rice. Somewhere an Asian grand mother is weeping. General tso should be sweet and spicy with broccoli, this was just the sweet and nothing else. A second star bc the vegetable lo mein and steam dumplings weren't terrible.
This place is my favorite. People are very nice. Food is always very delicious and fresh. Keep up the good work guys and thank you for your services.
I ordered the Seafood Chef's specialty which promised "King Crab" (it was disgusting crab stick with a tofu texture). It promised Lobster (it was 1 piece of lobster that was so tough you couldn't chew through it) and it promised scallops, (of which there were none). The eggrolls seemed frozen, the beef fried rice was yellow? Like curry yellow? It wasn't curried, and it tasted "fine" but the color of the rice was off putting and overall this place seemed inauthentic to the dozens of other Chinese food places I've had prior.
Food was fresh and delicious! Made to order. Kinda surprised me. Will definitely order again.
I placed a telephone order on Christmas Day, knowing full well that it is probably their busiest day. The restaurant did not have any sort of anorganized fulfillment system and so three hours after we placed our order, I left empty handed and went to another Chinese restaurant down the street.I hear that they have good food and I will give them another shot; I will just make sure that it's on a night when not much is happening.
