Great experience to try the authentic food.
Absolutely rude server's!!!Accused of sharing meals-wrong table.Refuses to remove the horrible calamari that was sent back. Stating we ordered it and was chargeble. If you want to be treated poorly and have a rude server this is the place to go!!?!!
The staff is always so welcoming and helpful. We always get hotpot when we dine in and it's so fresh and comforting. One of our all time favorite places to eat. Simply delicious!
Five visits over as many years and I've yet to tire of the hot pot offerings. The atmosphere of Yang's Shabu Shabu is always relaxed, a perfect backdrop to calmly boiling vegetables in rolling broth.I can't really say much about the rest of the menu, but the hot pot offerings seem incapable of disappoinment.
Had a great time!If you've never been, they offer cooked meals similar to other Asian sit down restaurants. The thing that sets this establishment apart is the reason you should go, the hot pot. So you order the size of broth and vessel to cook from, (yes you do cook your own food) then you get to pick what broth you'd like to cook in the broth, in the bowl you've chosen. After that you choose what you'd like from a fairly extensive list of ingredients. Several meats from most of the normal animals we are all used to eating plus things you may not be used to eating but are still delicious non the less. Loads of veggies to go along with the meal as well. Once you've assembled that list and placed your order there is bar where you create your own sauce concoction from several ingredients again. You can dip or pour the sauce in to the broth if you'd like, it's your meal do as you want. Once all your ingredients are brought to you there is an induction cook top built in to the table you can use to cook with. The bowl they bring will heat up and boil pretty quickly. Then once your liquid is up to temp you can start to cook your ingredients however you'd like.Pro tip, if you order broccoli or any other long cook time food, start with that. Take it from someone who's experienced it.I'm not very in to cooking my own food in a restaurant that I'm paying to eat at and if you are in my camp on that stance I urge you to relax that feeling a little bit. Get a few friends or your family together and go, you'll loosen up and have a fantastic meal and a great time with your friends and family.I can't recommend this place enough if you are in the trystate area and want try something different, so long as you are capable of having a good time you'll enjoy the experience.
Truly a hidden gem in the Evansville area! Never been to a place that you cooked your own meal. Great selection of seafood, meats, vegetables and of course noodles. The staff was very friendly and answered our questions along with suggestions. Don't forget to pick your sauces, they also half plated items as well!
No one really greets you. I want in for a fill in only. The man misunderstood me and started ripping my nails off. Then ask so I want full set I once again said no I said Fill in. So since he already had my nails off in one hand I said fine. I wont go back there. But my nails do look ok
I absolutely love this place and recommend to everyone! I’ve had it doordashed, eat in, take out, every single time it has been delicious. I’ve never ever been disappointed by the food quality and they are always friendly, fast, and attentive with their service. ❤️
Fantastic Chinese hotpot and our favorite spot in the area! Ingredients are very fresh and the service is great too. Definitey try if you're up for authentic Asian food.
Decent lunch menu! Went with friends and our group had two dietary restrictions (Celiac and shellfish) and they were reasonably able to accommodate. Great food for price, and good service. They did get the orders a bit scrambled, but nothing too dire.
