Turoni's is widely know to be (allegedly) the best pizza in Evansville. I'm not entirely sure of the source(s) for this assertion but I'm guessing they don't get out much. We went on a super busy Friday night. The parking lot was jam packed, people were waiting to get in, and the drive up pick up window was doing a brisk business. All good signs. We ended up in the corner table with the view of the Lloyd Expressway. To be honest, it was great for people watching, inside and out. We ordered some Cokes and an order of breadsticks and proceeded to scope out the decor and watch the employees' performance. The decor is old, funky, and homey. I take issue with the wallpaper patterns not being properly matched up but that has no effect on the pizza so I tabled it. The employees were running full tilt and were always on top of things. To be honest the customer service here is probably the best I'd ever had in a dining establishment, even taking into account places with the prerequisite snooty maitre d'.We sampled the beers and aside from a strangely sour IPA (which actually complemented the pizza) the rest were so-so. The stout was smoky yet thin tasting which was a disappointment considering my love of all things stout. The pizzas. Where to begin... Thankfully we didn't order the thin crusts because the crusts were already thin and crackery. They slice their pizzas into squares (which seems to be a regional affectation much like those hoagies they call stromboli down here) and looked passable. $25 for a large cheese pizza (12")? Obscene. That was on top of the rather plain, tasteless bread sticks. We also had a house special pizza. It was nice to see fresh mushroom and green pepper sliced razor thin. The sauce was unremarkable, however, and the sausage was almost flavorless. We ended up paying over $80 for the two pizzas, breadsticks, and a couple beers and Cokes. Worth it? Not by a long shot. Go to Sandy's pizza up in Fort Branch. At least that's the best we've found so far and that doesn't compare to Pizza Transit in Michigan or to pretty much any pizza on the East Coast. I've heard it said that Midwest food is insipid and with few exceptions that is true across the board. I'm not sure if a lot of people realize how bad it really is unless they've traveled. The bar is LOW!Save yourself a few Jacksons and go to Little Caesar's, a DiGiorno, or make your own at home (the best!).

When its fresh it rocks. Last time they served me a pizza with expired chicken. The time before that in december there were flying insects in the dining room. The girl in the drive thru is lazy. You tip here and she puts forth no effort to let you know your pizza is up. I prefer the main street location.

Have been going for years. It never disappoints. Best pizza I've ever eaten anywhere. My favorite is the house special.

Had a small gathering for a birthday party, Josh our waiter was fantastic. Everything was correct, brought out quickly, and he even joined in on the fun with the family. We all had a great time, I definitely prefer this location over the one on Main now.

I had not dined at this particular Turoni’s in quite some time. Met a few friends at the, “Forget Me Not” location in Weinbach for lunch. We sat in the bar and I must say we received top notch service. From the moment we walked in the bartender/server was fantastic. Our appetizers came out quickly and my, “meat lovers” pizza couldn’t have tasted any better. My friends also loved the pizza that they ordered. Our drinks never ran empty the entire time we were there. I can’t say anything could have made this visit go any better. Top notch experience on this day.

We gathered with our 2 sons, daughters in laws, and 4 grandchildren for a birthday celebration on Friday, February 18th. The service was excellent! Food was delicious and the magician who came to our table delighted young and old alike. Great evening thanks to Turonis and the joy of being with family!

Met friends and we each had small pizzas. They were a perfect size and delicious. Our waitress was excellent. Always a good experience at Turonis!

I go there at least once a month their pizzas to die for. They're dining in area is awesome they have memorabilia of Evansville and Indiana. It is a very interesting place you'll like it

The food is worth the wait. They were busy but the team work was very noticeable as we had 4 different waiters ask us how we were doing while we were there. The service was good and thoughtful.. Yes there was a 20 min wait on our food but it was very fresh, right out of the oven, and absolutley delicious. We had the Greek salad and Greek pizza. A very unique cracker crust with a big delicious flavor. I will definitely look forward to returning.

Great setting. Lots-A-Meat pizza was delicious. Beer is very cold. Also had the garlic cheese toast and it as well was scrumptious. Service was awesome. Priced reasonably.
