Loved the Sunday brunch menu! Quick service and really good food!

My friend and I went here one afternoon before a concert. We arrived and was only the second table seated at the rooftop and left us plenty of time to order our food as we new it would be busy. We ordered two drinks and two appetizers to share. when the drinks arrived they were no longer cold. Our first appetizer arrived and it was not ours. the food runner was very confused. We waited and waited and waited. we ordered two more drinks and waited and waited and waited. At this time the rooftop was now full. You could see the waitstaff was confused and the food runners had no clue where food was supposed to be going. After waiting almost two hours. we never received our appetizers or our second order of drinks. We asked for our checks as after that long we had to o to our concert for entry to the venue. It was not just us with this issue. other tables were leaving without there food as well. all in all they need more waitresses that serve you the whole time. not a waitress that takes the order and then a "food runner" who brings it out because there clearly was no communication. It made for a not so great first impression. I would not suggest going here for dinner any night there is any type of event downtown.
We came here for brunch today and it was really crazy. Our poor server was running all over the place. People were getting upset, what did they expect. Then we got the check and our Mothers day brunch was free. Thank you Rooftop!
Food was good, service was good. The special seasoning is a little too sweet for my taste but many must enjoy it. Most tables have lots of TV's in view, which is not my favorite when eating dinner. Overall a decent option for a quick downtown meal before a Ford center event.
I have to say I'm very disappointed because I'd much rather leave a positive review for a local business. The Rooftop is in a prime location to visit before going to sporting events, concerts, etc but we'll travel further before going here again. Our visit started with our waitress letting us know she was new and wasn't sure whether they served margaritas (no, she didn't check either), the food was meh, she mixed up the checks and then our account was charged twice. Most places would be apologetic and work to resolve it quickly but not The Rooftop. I spoke to them multiple times without an apology of any kind, I was told to continue to wait and now, almost 3 weeks later, I finally disputed with my bank. I'm a huge believer in supporting local but this is not one of the local establishments that will be getting our business.
Double charged on our bank account. It has been a week and no refund. Was told to wait for another week. The burger was incredibly bland.. fries were pretty good. Idk if it was worth 100 bucks for two meals after being double charged though.
Server was friendly, tried several different appetizers and all was yummy!
Buffalo chicken and Mac n cheese was delicious. Lighting nice overall charm. Excellent wait staff quick to address customer needs. Upper and lower deck drinks for those that do and still completely comfortable for myself who doesn't drink.
Great room upstairs for private gatherings. Food and service is great.
