A 40-min wait to be seated, but they will text the party when your table is available. An abundance of food! Seasoned fries are delicious; all food was great! Reasonably priced sandwich dinners. Three-scoop ice cream sundae was large, too, but hit the spot. Was enough to share. They have a separate late-night menu (Sun, Wed, Th 9-10p / Fr, Sat 10-midnight) with still a good assortment of food available.
I was in Evansville for 3 days and ate here twice and I don't do that. We are foodies and love to try new places . I almost ordered the same meal . We had 4 different meals and every choice was superb along with service.
The waiter was very good/ very busy. There was a total of 4 Hamburgers ordered. They were ordered well done. Well somewhere light pink some were still bloody inside. Upside chicken wings were great....if you go I'd order chicken cause they couldn't get the beef right.
Went on a Sunday night because they are not very busy but still had to wait 10 minutes before someone came to seat us. Our server took our order and that's the last we seen him, he was busy takin care of his regular customers, One of the cooks brought us our food and the hostess brought us our check. I told the hostess the pork tenderloin was overcooked and she asked why I didn't say anything they would of redone it , I asked her who was I going to tell no one checked on us after we got our food to tell! We had to flag someone down just to get the check . Very disappointing will not be going back
MY experience? Ha! It's the 4th of July and they closed at 10pm. I got through the line @ 10:01pm and the manager refused to seat us! Having worked in the food & beverage industry for many years, I would have NEVER turned away a paying customer at 1min past closing, especially an excellent tipping one! The manager should be fired. And if that is how the taphouse operates the new casino owners should bring a new, better restaurant. And just an FYI I very rarely leave bad reviews however they deserve this, 1 min past close, really?
Getting the Hostess to seat us was quite the job. She was always busy cleaning tables and talking, finally some other lady came and seated us in a booth. Adam was our waiter and did a great job. He could remember our orders without having to write anything down that was amazing. Ribeye was ok, nothing really special especially for the $34 price. Burnt ends that my wife had she said were pretty good.Later we went to the bar for drinks and the female bartender was cranky. Really not a very good "people person." My wife just asked a few questions about a couple different drinks and she about came unglued. After speaking to other patrons on the casino floor several all said that bartender is the one who normally works and really isn't very customer friendly.
Nice place to grab a drink inside the Tropicana casino, lots of cocktail choices and the bartender was friendly. The drink itself was a bit small and lacking alcohol for the price paid. The food menu had a few pricey options, but a few reasonably priced items as well.
Very good food, friendly service
The service is friendly and the food is always delicious with large portions. My favorites are the nachos and the Mac & cheese with the Spicey grilled shrimp.
The food and service is always great.
