I'd like to go on the record as saying I LOVE Taco John's. Given a choice between the many Mexican fast food options, I'd always opt for Taco John's over Taco Bell.Fast forward to just about any weekend trip we make to Evansville, and you'll find us eating lunch here during that weekend. This Taco John's is a bit off the beaten path, being located away from massive centers of fast food overkill and is easy to miss, but is worth the effort. The cleanliness of this location is kind of hit-or-miss and on one visit the iced tea container in the dining room was dripping...and by "dripping" I mean a pretty steady stream, leaving a large iced tea puddle on the floor. Other times it's as clean as can be.Taco John's menu has a few surprises on it, as well as the normal compliment of Mexican food items. Yes, there are tacos and burritos, but their kicker is the tots...ahem...Potato Olés®. Offered as a side or as a part of another menu item, it's actually a nice addition to the normal Mexican fare. They're served VERY hot and are nicely seasoned. My favorite is the Taco Bravo®. A warm flour tortilla, refried beans, then an entire taco inside...and it is THE SHIZNAT.For the most part the staff at this location is friendly and helpful and the food delivery times are pretty speedy. We've never had a problem and the food has always been hot and accurately prepared.I wish there was a Taco John's closer to Louisville, but since we're in Evansville a few times a year I always have this to look forward to.

Ok picture this; its like 10pm at night and everything is calm and only an hour before close...I pull up. I want 20 tacos. No, I was not high. My family loves this place and this is the closest one in 2 hours to get to. I happened to be in town and was requested I get the entire family tacos.Me: I just need 20 regular tacos.Cashier/window worker: I'm sorry.....did you say 20.Me: I did ☠️Shout out to the workers and especially the window/cashier worker for having a sense of humor. The food was amazing for a 1am snack (different timezone so it goes up an hour)

Although the restroom needs serious cleaning. The food was better than last time. It was made correctly. The Manger is very friendly.

Worst service I had ever experienced , I have ordered $48 worth of food, it supposed to be 9 burritos and churros, instead got 6 burritos, no churros , when I called to report it , the Drug add Manager Lady Said there is nothing they can Do ,

All tables were dirty. Floor had dryer spills in several places. Staff however was polite and friendly.

If u pay 8$ for potatoes and they not hot just warm. I'm not that dern hungry to settle for that take it bk calmly and ask for fresh soggy lettuce. Just a slap of meat on the taco u only paying for the soft shell

This is one of the dirtiest Taco John's I have ever visited. The walls have old food splattered all over them. The tables were all dirty. The floor was a mess. The hiring manager must have scraped the bottom of the barrel. Almost all of the workers were nasty looking. It does not have to be this way. Have you ever noticed that in a Chick Fillet all the employees are clean and wholesome looking with friendly attitudes? Why can't other fast food restaurants replicate that?

Tacos were nothing surprising. The potatoes were fine, and the cheese sauce was great. The employee that helped me via drive thru was very helpful and pushed this review from 3 to 4 stars.

Wow... biggest let down. Got the bundle with the 1lbs of oles.... the chicken quesadillas are an absolute joke... it was so small and pathetic. The entire order was wrong and a complete mess. Please do NOT order from here... dont waste your money

honestly can't lie. just got lunch of the chicken street taco trio- feel like i'll pass out. because i dont waste my money, i ate it and i just know i'll have severe IBS after. i'm boiling with cheese water and lettuce vomit.
