This is the only sonic in evansville that I go to because it is the best. The workers are so nice and it’s always quick and delicious :) thank you south green river sonic. You rock
Foods typically old/dry and wait times are almost always ridiculous. When it's not all old food though, it's generally somewhat worth the wait.
Ordered on the app, 2 shakes and a large mozzarella sticks.Received, 2 small drinks, and a bag with 2 small burgers.Guy walked away, I called him back over and gave the items back and he said hold on... waited like 5 mor minutes on top of an already 15 minute wait for the guy to bring me 1 shake and 2 small drinks again... I explained 2 times that we ordered 2 shakes and a large mozzarella stick... had to WAIT A 3RD TIME. He finally brought me the other shake and the cheese sticks and its now been about 25 minutes wait and I will not return to this location.(I don't mind waiting long times for food, but waiting 3 times and getting the wrong order twice, was too much)
After trying one Sonic and getting no service, I tried another a few miles away. At 9:39 I ordered a med. Chocolate shake. At 9:52 They brought it out. A few at 953 I took a sip as I drove home. I had a glass of chocolate milk. A $5.00 glass of milk. Totally melted shake. No I didn't go back.I don't know why I went to this Sonic. They always have the worst shakes but not this bad. The best shakes are at the place where the service is bad.
I wasn't impressed with the food at this sonics in evansville Indiana on green river rd.My tater tots were cold and tasted like old oil they had been cooked in. Burger wasn't. Much better, they need to lay off the , lettuce and onion so much , made bun soggy.Cherry limeade dri k was fabulous .
The wait times are insane. I understand when a restaurant is busy but, when there are only 4 cars, employees are outside smoking and talking to their friends while you wait 20-30 minutes to give your order is unacceptable. This has been an ongoing issue. Try a different sonic.
Wanted to love it but today I couldn't get my order taken. I wasted 22 mins of my 30 min lunch break to end up settling for a Fizz Pop from Thorntons. Turrible
Turns out thier icecream machine had been broken down all day. And oddly enough. Then next one I went to. Thier system had just crashed. Funny how these things happen at night close to when they're getting ready to close.
Sat and waited 20 mins for service. Moved stalls. Waited. Finally got someone's attention. 20 mins til closing... no ice cream. We got our slush for free. Just in general a total hot mess. Guy with the head set was millin around but wasn't answering. Pretty disappointing.
Waited 10 minutes to place my order with 4 other cars in the lot. Ended up leaving due to not being able to place a order. This has happened the past 3 times I have visited this location and sadly it will be the last.
