Do NOT eat here if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions. I have celiac disease and notified my server multiple times about my allergy, and after ordering and eating something that was allegedly marked gluten free on their menu, the server came out and said “actually that’s not gluten free” after I had eaten half of it. I have been sick for 2 days. Staff was very rude to me about it, and I even had to ask for it to be taken off my bill.
Horrible ! Horrible! Horrible! We Couldn't even get a glass of water! No waitress had time for us. Bartender just kept looking at us. When we asked for assistance we were told that they did not work our section. SHAME ON YOU ALL!!!!!!
Omg!!! The steak was cooked to perfection. The pasta and bread pudding is to die for. Kate was the best waitress we've ever had. She never let the drinks run low, she was very helpful with what to order, she always came and checked on us at the right time (never with my mouth full. Lol) I'd recommend smitty's to anyone looking for a great steak and pasta place. The build is beautiful and the patio has some great shade.
We had sandwiches-burger & fish. Both good. My husband loved the bread pudding.
Arrived Saturday evening with two other couples. It was evident the Servers were new hires. Ordered the Flounder and was told they did not serve any type of veggie as a side except over cooked greens. The House Salad arrived warm and wilted. It was apparent it had been prepared early in the day and left sitting out. Some twenty or so were observed sitting on the kitchen ready area. The fish was far from fresh and too much grease for my taste. Mixed drink (Gin/Tonic) was very good and my wife said her pasta dish was good but average. All of the dishes served were hot but everyone stated they ranked all average. Might not go back soon.
Very cool atmosphere. The appetizers were solid (mozzarella sticks and garlic toast). But the service was extremely slow because of low staffing and the meals themselves were below average. Server was very nice however.
I wasn't exactly happy about the parking lot being confusing to get to they should have signs, not everyone is from around here. The food was delicious. The waitress was so nice and came over often. We got the porterhouse steaks and they were cooked to perfection. The Bruschetta was different but delicious and the bread pudding? I wish I could take a huge container of it home. Will come again.Have to give it 4 because of the parking confusing
The wait was long but the food was good. We ordered the Franklin Street Philly and a Stromboli. The Philly had to much meat and the Stromboli not quite enough but the taste was fine. I will go here again and try other stuff as their menu looks incredible.
Met some friends there. They had been there before and this was our first. Orders were taken rather promptly. My husband ordered his steak well done but was sent out red. The 2nd time everything seemed really good. Overall, I think we will retry again.
Went there earlier this week and got chicken parmesan and a side of meatballs. Those were very good and the servings were generous. It also came with a salad that was disappointing...like it was out of a bag. It was supposed to come with a side of pasta, but none was brought out. I should've asked, but just assumed i didn't pay attention to the menu when i ordered. Got home and went on line and it was supposed to come with pasta of the day. If it wasn't for not getting the pasta, I'd have given 4 stars. Better salad and 5 stars. Service was friendly, but the bar seating beside was not cleaned off promptly despite being an extremely slow night. Definitely a place worth trying if you haven't.
