We had breakfast this morning it was delish! Huge omelets, fried potatoes with onions and bacon in them and gravy and biscuits! I also left my purse behind and when I realized I went back and it was under the station when you pay untouched! I highly recommend them for breakfast! Huge proportions and delish coffee and service was excellent as well!
This place is prime example of how it used to be done(and done well) and how it SHOULD be done! The "regulars" ,staff,food ( which was TOP NOTCH by the way) etc. Made trip(came from indy) well worth trip! Had a couple "regulars " that were sitting over coffee just shooting the breeze and having noticed my coffee nearly empty got up (assisting server) refilled my cup several times!! The sausage gravy best tasted anywhere (cracker barrel was best had out) but this being home made was GREAT! Keep up the good work,people!!??
We used to frequent this place when my kids were younger. Rosie and her daughter were alqays so friendly. Today the food was good, fried potatoes and bacon excellence. My daughters sausage was overcooked. The French toast and biscuits and gravy were good, but not the coffee. Not very friendly people at the register or wait staff.
Tried to stop by for our first visit here, another customer had to tell us it was self seating. They were so short staffed only one person was taking care of the whole dining area. No tables were cleaned so we sat down at a dirty one. Saw one table get their food while we were waiting and they had to send it back because it was wrong. Waited 20 minutes and was never acknowledged so we got up and left.First impressions are everything. I will not try to eat here after this.
WOW, what a great breakfast. If you enjoy visiting local "hole in the wall" restaurants Rosie's is a must. The jumbo breakfast plate was a lot of food, and everything was hot, fresh and really tasty. This was a true gem ! A big menu with many options and very inexpensive. Service was great and everyone very nice. I will visit this place on my next visit to Evansville for sure. Please note that they are only open 5am-1pm.
It's been a while since i checked Rosies out. My food was phenomenal! Everything cooked to order. Catfish is ?. This joint never disappoints!!Food was amazing!! Still craving Rosie's! Will definitely be my go to breakfast spot! An so affordable
Been wanting to try this place for years, but since it's only open for breakfast and lunch, we just couldn't get there. We both had plate lunches, both with 3 sides, and even with a 25% tip, it was less than $21. They have a nice selection of sides--not all potatoes like most places. They even had dressed eggs; I've never seen them in a restaurant! Only down side, they only had one server who had to do everything: wait tables, bus tables, and cash you out. I can't complain about that, though, because no one has enough help now, and she did a great job. We will definitely try to get there more often and try breakfast.
Usually busy( because they're that good) but always quick to take orders. Will make to your liking. Will repeat your order back to. Sometimes even offer ideas. I've always had good service And the food comes out great every time. Don't forget to tip. They are busy waitresses and cooks. If you want some thing added or taken out of your meal you get it!
Fantastic food, and prices. The staff is kind, helpful and professional.Definitely recommend.
I was told it was Old fashion home cooking.and we were served precooked sausage, precooked biscuits and burnt potatoes.very disappointed
