This restaurant is tasty!!! Ask to be placed in Jack's section he gives top notch service but remember to tip him very well he deserves a raise! But for all I know he is the owner!!!

I LOVE hibachi. We decided to sit at a regular table instead of having the food cooked in front of us like we normally do. We had great service and we got our food quickly. All of my food was good, but my steak was delicious and melted in my mouth.

Almost always have great service and love the food at Roppongi. However, my family and I came to celebrate my birthday and decided to sit hibachi for the special occasion. Our server, Ray, berated all of us for 5 minutes straight about how we should not have sat at hibachi and took up his table if all of us were not going to get hibachi. My family members who did not order hibachi then changed their orders per his demand. We felt very unwelcome at this point, which is upsetting because we normally have a great experience. The hibachi chef was amazing. Once Ray returned at the end of our dinner, one of my family members tipped him ten dollars but informed him that he was very rude to us earlier. He then proceeded to call my aunt a “dumbass” who “could not handle her alcohol” (she had a single glass of wine). And said we didn’t even tip him well. Would give 5 stars if you hire a staff member in his place that has respect for its customers and regulars.

Went for hibachi and it was FUN!! They are incredibly considerate of having young kids at the table and everything is delicious. There is so much on the menu, it will be easy to keep coming back for more!

We were here tonight and literally waited 2 WHOLE HOURS JUST TO GET OUR FOOD. We waited 45 minutes for the cook to even come out to start cooking the food.. then an additional hour just to cook everything and then I ordered extra veggies enough for the veggies to just be “mushrooms and zucchini” and barely got any food. Think I got 4 pieces of chicken (chicken was raw..) and 6 pieces of shrimp. $32.00 a plate and wait 2 hours on food then aren’t even hungry anymore.. sushi we ordered wasn’t worth the $20 we spent on it. It wasn’t fried hard enough and we waited 30 minutes just on that. I do not recommend this place. Save your money and go to Shoguns.. and have a better show experience and not have to wait 2 hours just to get your food. We were there until right at closing time when our food got done and literally didn’t even eat it just got put in boxes because we had been waiting so long. Not worth over the $100 we spent. We should’ve went with our gut and went to Shoguns.

Eleven dollars for a spicy California roll to go. Barely any rice on it. Not worth the price.

What can I say, the sushi here is beyond delicious. My husband and I eat here every Sunday. Religiously. We only miss when we had covid and for Christmas. Other than that, we are there every week. Sometimes twice in a week. The staff are wonderful. From the hostess who always remembers us and starts us off with drinks, to our servers who never forget to refill our cups. But the crowning glory, are the Sushi Chefs. Willie is a true treasure. He's always ready with a laugh and a smile. He is wonderful at suggesting the tastiest fish for the day. He answers all the silly questions I ask and is happy to make adjustments to the items I order without complaint. 100% I suggest this restaurant to anyone who enjoys a tasty bit of fish, ramen, or hibachi meal.

So it was good but to be honest for what they charge I expect far better and write frankly the portions were small. Now the Hibatchi may be better, however we didn't order that. I would prefer to give 3.5 stars.

Food and drinks were good just didn't think the quality was worth the price. Service was good. Overall it was good experience. I would maybe try again when they are not so busy.

Roppongi absolutely killed it tonight! They got us seated in no time without a reservation, service was excellent, the show was fantastic, the cook was amazing and went all out, oh and the food was to die for! All on one of their busiest nights (Valentines day) of the year too, well worth it.
