Sad service and food!! Really really bad food and service. I’ve tried 3 times!! No more benefit of the doubt!!

First time here, stopped in on a Friday. Service was fast, everyone friendly. Assortment of food options was good. Nice outdoor seating area! Even had live entertainment outside.
Absolutely amazing service! Food was to die for. You have to have the fries, the seasoning is beyond amazing. I had the cat fish and it is perfect. My husband had the BBQ burger and said it was the best burger he has ever had. Must go!!!
This is a great place for pizza and beer. They have fish and fries or burgers. Whatever you choose is yummy here and the vibe is great. They also have some yummy cocktails to choose from. The dining room has booth or table seating to choose from and even a bar top if that's your thing!
Decent place, good service, clean. Got pizza and they loaded it up with toppings. Beer was cold.Tavern is located just down from Interstate 64, next to a group of hotels. If I had just checked in and needed a nearby place to have a beer and relax, this would be it.An additional note: this used to be a Denny's. I'm glad they re-purposed the building instead of letting it remain vacant or tear it down.
How in this world would this place get this high of a rating without manipulating their rating. No way this place can be rated higher than a 3 and in my book it gets a 2. I couldn't recommend it to anybody. Posting photos and hopefully they will show why this is not a place I wanna return to. I hope the quality, and pricing improves or this place will go under fast.Then to get a response after leaving my honest review "Did you let your server know" ----ahhh no the poor young girl was trying to serve everyone in the restaurant; honestly I felt sorry for the girl. She was so busy she forgot the $10 appetizer and brought it out with the meals (plate of fries as shown in my photo). No excuses - it wasn't good PERIOD and I am sorry if others disagree......it's my review and my personal opinion!
Came in and the poor waitress was by herself and totally killed it. Whitney was completely on top it the whole time we were here. They didn't have cherries for my daughter's Shirley temple so they brought her a whole bowl of fresh strawberries. Highly recommend this place, the people are all super nice even kitchen staff hooked it up.
My sister, brother in law, great niece , and I visted for the first time on Fri. We were very impressed with the welcome we received. Then, our server was bubbly, informative, and just amazing. Food was outstanding!
