Through my teens and twenties this restaurant was our go to. Sadly is it our last pick but keep returning for a glimmer of hope that it will return to the old Ocharleys. Tonight, my wife did not get to eat due to the poor service and poor kitchen. Chopped steak, stated well done, came out with blood sitting on top and barely seared. Waitress had 3 tables but continued to tell every table how busy they were and how sorry she was for the late meals and drinks. Couple beside sat for 25 minutes without getting waited on(3 tables they became 4 then back to 3 when they walked out). My wife and I have decided that this will be our absolute last time in west side ocharleys in evansville indiana.
Had the "fish and chips"; but, substituted the fries for mac and cheese. Everything was delicious. Service was excellent.However, I'd made up my mind to have the catfish dinner, and was disappointed when I ordered it to learn they'd been unable to get catfish for several weeks! I think the server should've advised us in the beginning of the issue. It's not his fault the restaurant didn't have any. It's a supplier issue. It would've been nice to know up front about them not having catfish.
Had lunch there today. I could not have asked for a better meal. I had the Seafood Combo and it was great. The only thing was the fries had been oversalted. We both agreed to that. You cannot overcook seafood and they didn't. One other thing that even the waiter agreed with us. I guess we were there early enough, we were served rolls from yesterday. They were a long way from O'Charleys rolls. After we were almost finished, they brought out fresh rolls to the other tables around us. They were hot and fresh. The seafood meal that I had was as good as any I ever ate in Florida. Our waiter was great!
Dear O'Charley's,Had a great time having a late lunch with friends this past weekend. The waiter was right on top of things, both with drinks and rolls. Great job.I noticed you cleverly put the same dining options on several pages for each possible category applicable. Interesting way to hide your decreasing menu items, it's like my five year old gave the idea. But I noticed since the French Dip sandwich I favored has pulled a disappearing act during the shuffle.Au revoir a ma Dip de Beuf,Bruce
Our waiter was attentive and quick even tho he had several tables by himself. He was so nice and food was delicious.
I just want to highlight this store. I had went over to the Eastside store for dinner with my husband. The hostess did not look so happy. She asked if you we wanted to sit at the bar or do we want a table. I replied I came to eat dinner and we don't drink. So we would love a table. She turned around and sat us to the very 1st table at the door. I tried to get her attention to ask can we be moved. She was no where to be found, So we left. I proceeded to Pearl Ave on the Westside. I wanted O Charlie. It's our date nite restaurant, one of them, and we love the food. My experience at the Pearl Ave has always been A1. Top notch. My waitress BRITTANY was so nice and polite. She gave us great service and still maintained her other tables. I want to thank This store for a wonderful meal. KEEP THW COOK!!
O’Charley’s was a very clean place. The food was amazing and the rolls were fresh. Robert M. was our waiter and he was the nicest waiter I have ever had. Highly recommend requesting him if possible because he will make sure your experience is great and will greet you with the upmost politeness!

I give our visit a 2 only because the waitresseswere great and were working their buttons off returning raw beef. Our party ordered 2 steaks...both medium well. They came to us raw so we sent them back. They returned to us worse! How can that be?
Ordered through Uber Eats this evening and food was room temp, shorted us 3 rolls, no pie topping, no salad and the cheese triangles had zero filling…second bad experience through Uber but it’s not really on the driver! Not happy and most likely won’t ever order delivery again.
