Food was excellent. Our waitress was super nice. Prices very reasonable. Definitely recommend

Very glad I ended up here. I was welcomed warmly and, despite not having a reservation, seated promptly. The food is good but honestly, the reason to come, is the service. The Italian man who met me at the door was kind and did not treat me like less of a customer just because I was by myself. I was served by a tall gentleman with a silver ponytail who made sure I was well taken care of. The teenage boy with long hair made sure my water was always full, there was never an empty dish on my table, and I was stuffed with rolls. I'm a tourist from Cincinnati and I was not at all disappointed by eating here. I'd love to see them able to replace the booth seats and get a fresh coat of paint so please eat here and help them out!
So it's one of them busier nights of the year in downtown Evansville. But they have at least 8 open tables. I stopped at the host stand, man walks up to me, says nothing, and keeps looking at me. After about 15 seconds I finally said " It's just me". He reacts like I should know the situation, and that it's absolutely normal. "It'll be 15 or 20 minutes, the guys are behind.". There are 2 servers I guess, and this guy who doesn't seem to know how to greet a customer. But what. 10 tables occupied? Not a great first, and for now only, impression.It was the staring at me like I'M supposed to speak first. Most people who go into a restaurant want to eat there. The staff needs to greet, not stare.
Got seated right away. Great service. I had Shrimp Alfredo, salad, bread. Food was wonderful. I will be back. Thank you all.

Best Italian food in the city! Everything is yummy and never a disappointment. Chef came from Italy.
Veal Marsala and Penne w Carbonara and sausage, garlic knot and a terrific salad with awesome dressing. Will definitely eat there again.
