Great little lunch spot! Food was hot and fresh. The catfish sandwich was absolutely amazing, highly recommend. The burger was also tasty! Fries were good, but seemed to not be salted at all. Had to wait a good bit for our food, but the sandwiches were worth it. The place was packed when we got there (and I see why!). The seating was cramped and broken (my seat had a pretty large gaping hole), and there was no restroom available for use. Still, will definitely pop back in!

Another Meh place to add to the list of restaurants in Evansville. As other reviewers mentioned, the tables were mostly dirty, I did my best to clean the table for my kids and I, and the furniture could definitely be upgraded (some booths had huge cracks, tears, holes, etc). No salad bar available as there was nothing in the salad station, and, again as many reviewers had noted, there was only about half the soft drinks available with the others being out. The burger was more of a smashed burger, the kind that Steak and Shake would serve, where they just smash the patty down and make it a pancake, and was very greasy. The fries were very underwhelming, mushy with little to no taste to them. The young man working behind the counter was very nice and the young woman that was calling out and running out the orders seemed very knowledgable. Seems to be a family run business, which I like to support which is why I am giving it a 3 stars. Price wasn't horrible, about $24 for my kids and I to eat at. Overall, don't go in expecting too much and you won't be disappointed. Will probably go back at some point, but will not be in a rush to do so.

It’s okay. Lady at the front counter was not pleasant to her customers at all, very much not a people person, rolling her eyes, you can tell she was very unhappy to even be there. They also wouldn’t answer their phone since Apple Maps doesn’t help you find the place well at all. (However, they have a wonderful view of the old post office center and it’s gorgeous.) They advertised a salad bar with 18 different options to choose from yet don’t even do them to go. I understand the pandemic makes it difficult but a disclaimer on their website would be great because we were really looking forward to it. The food is okay, but I felt like they were angry I was even there, which isn’t the way to keep customers. I guess I just don’t get the hype.

clean, quick, delicious, fresh and hot, the softest Philly rolls I have ever had

Major disappointment. Almost took my allotted lunch time to wait for a burger and fries. There may have been 15 - 20 fries in a good size bag. Not getting much value or munch on the combo .

Food is great! Love the catfish sandwich. The owners are great and friendly

This place must be hit or miss. Yesterday we stopped before the Korn concert and had dinner. Got the Philly naked they were out of peppers and I'm assuming tomatoes because there weren't any when there were supposed to be, got the double mushroom burger, went to order another one no bun for my husband and they were out of mushrooms, their okra was bland and fries were okay. No salad bar available which is why I chose that place to begin with since my husband is on a strict diet. Kids had chicken nuggets, those must have been alright because they ate them. Their soda machine is out of a lot of stuff and they do offer cans if need be, but definitely won't be back again.

We came into town to see a concert. Online, major mulch advertised having a salad.bar, it was not available. All the menu items we tried to purchase they did not have ingredients for(mushrooms, green peppers etc) The naked philly was sad looking, small portion. Our party of 6 was not impressed with food or service. In addition no public restrooms. More hassle than it was worth.

Usually when my coworkers and I go to MM for lunch everything is great. Today was not that day. I had the 1st order of the day and all but one of my items was incorrect. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich combo with pickle and mustard and received it with mayo instead. The fries given with my combo were not even enough for a starving child in Africa. I didn't get any of the sauces that I asked for, even asked the cashier if they were in there and she verified they were. I was very disappointed and we not be giving Major Munch anymore of my business in the future.

This is a fantastic little dive joint right here in Downtown Evansville! They have a very large menu with lots of different American classics. I got the catfish sandwich with fries and it was awesome! The only reason I deducted a star is because my sandwich bun was a bit soggy and not toasted. The fries I had on the side were excellent too! Overall, this was a good joint that we ate at.
