We ordered a Stromboli, Calzone, lg. pepperoni pizza, garlic knots all for $48. The food tasted good except for the knots which were dense & the pizza crust was soggy & the Stromboli was made more like a calzone. The calzone was good.
I got a tip from a friend to try Lombardi's the other day, and finally got around to trying it today. Let me tell ya folks, this is hands down the best pizza in the tri state area. The simple pies are my favorites, and the pepperoni pizza tastes like what I imagined the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles pizza tasted like when I watched it as a kid. The Margherita style pizza blew me away as well. As if it were straight from the loving arms of a tender Italian man named Giovanni. Seriously give Lombardi's a shot. You will not regret it. 5 stars
Delicious and super friendly staff. The chicken bacon ranch pizza is out of this world. Nashville Chicken Pizza is also great. Also one of the only places around that always has a pizza by the slice offering.
I've tried almost every pizza place in Evansville and Newburgh. If you're from the northeast and feeling homesick for our style pies this is what you want. I got light sauce and well done crust with pepperoni and mushrooms, and it was done to perfection.
We just got back from a trip from New York, and I realized on that trip that New York style pizza was the best. I was very happy to find out that we had our own local New York style pizza here in town. My wife used to eat here when they were located in Henderson, and things have not change the pizza was amazing. The garlic knots were great, and who can be mad at cheesecake? We were able to get the pizza half baked so when we got home we could finish it off and add the ricotta to it which made a big difference given that we live 20 miles away. If you want a decent pizza in a style of New York, this is your place! We will definitely be going back again and again.
The pizza here is absolutely delicious you can order a single slice ot a whole pizza. Their garlic knows are super yummy dipped in their special nacho cheese! It's really just amazing pizza! You have to try it.
Haven’t had Pizza or Wings. But the Three meat Stromboli’s are fantastic! One Stromboli will easily feed two hearty appetites! The outside crust is only there to hold lots of meat, cheese, and sauce. My new favorite Italian meal!
Honestly the best NY style pizza in town and the only place I know in Evansville that sells real Stromboli's not pizza sandwiches. This place does it right. I heard they transport their water from NY to make the dough. Is that true?
First time trying their pizza and it was really good. My guest and I ate lunch for @ $15. Prices and the pizza were great! I would recommend trying it!
The service was quick and friendly. This is definitely a hidden gem for New York style pizza. The garlic knots were also amazing! All the food was hot, fresh, and flavorful.
