Food is good. Guy working register seemed put off that I wanted items a certain way. Spent $30 for lunch, when they called my name, the handed me 4 containers, and 2 bags, so I could bag my own order. Uh, no! Big fail.
Great service. Food was excellent. Pumpernickel bread was delicious. Came back next day for the salad
Extremely rude workers. My girlfriend and I went in to get some food, while yea close to their closing, but still decent amount of time. The lady at the counter snapped at us “Are you paying for parking?!” And when we replied with no, she snapped “Well, we are closed so we ain’t making you anything soooo!” And motioned towards the door. Seems strange to close before your sign does when you clearly have business beyond just 2 people at the moment. And even if you are closed, how hard is it to be polite about it?
Ice cream was good, but the service and pricing could be better.
I usually love Lics club croissant and the butter mustard but today they didn’t put any on the sandwich and I’m very disappointed. I also love the potato soup but today it looks curdled and unedible. The food is to expensive to have these kinds of mistakes! Do better Lics. I’ll try again someday.
I've always loved Lic's ice cream, but I just recently had a Spinach Salad with Grilled Chicken added from the Washington location, and I was very happy with it! The ingredients were fresh, and the Lic's House Dressing tasted great!

If you are an Evansville native or just passing through I highly suggest you stop and grab a pint of sorbet from them.. they have amazing seasonal options and some classics that have been a staple since I can remember.. don’t disappoint yourself anymore with subpar ice cream, go where it’s known.. salads are always super fresh..
