I live in Henderson Kentucky we had a Lee's Chicken there years ago but they closed down. So when we went to visit our son in Evansville I was excited when I seen they had a Lee's Chicken. We went through and got several meals each one of them were very good. I will definitely go back again. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend Lee's Chicken. Thank you Lee's Chicken for such a good dinner.
Waited while the person at register ignored us. Ordered a #2 and #3 and he brings out a completely different order. Then brings my sandwich with nothing on it and just overall horrible experience.

Dark meat meal with two thighs, mashed potatoes wl gravy and macaroni and cheese.I got a leg and a thing and the cook had my receiptCouldn't take it back
I will NOT be going here again. I was at the drive thru at 10am and they don't open until 10:30am. The man came out to go to his car and let me know that he was the only cook and that it would be 30mins before my fish would be cooked. I said that was fine and he asked me to pull into on of the waiting spots. So about 11:15 am I noticed several cars going through getting their orders and about 11:30am I went to the window and asked why was I the first one and I still hadn't received my fish. I was then told that they were going to drop the fish now. I said that I was the first one there and why did I have to wait to be served after seeing several cars getting their chicken. They didn't have a good enough excuse for me so when they brought my fish out to me I told them that I've been coming here faithfully for several years and that they are going to miss a great customer, because I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK. My mom loves their chicken and I love their fish, but that business has gone down in the last few months. And I mean what I said I WON'T GO BACK.
I never leave reviews but have to this time. Stopped Sunday evening around 7:30 at St. Joe location. Is it normal to get 5 wings, 1 breast, 1 thigh and 1 leg in an 8 piece bucket? Felt it had been sitting there a long time.
This was my second time in the past few months ordering lunch from there and every time the food does not taste fresh at all. I ordered 2 chicken livers meals and the food was cold the liver was soggy it almost tasted like it was dipped in water the mashed potatoes tasted like water. I use to work there so I know what the food is suppose to taste like. Whoever they got working in there should not be cooking food like ever
Last time I was at this Lees Famous recipe the new owner had just taken over, it has been almost 2 years and by the comments it has gotten worse. Asked new owner if he had started freezing the cole slaw to save money. He said no he didn’t do that, I showed him the chunk of ice in my slaw. He just walked away. He does everything to lower his cost and raises prices to make more money. Look forward to the day he is gone and it has another new owner.
My husband came in dining room we carried out. Chicken livers or fresh but extremely salty that is the third time in a row. We used to eat them all the time but we don't anymore mashed potatoes were cold service was fine
I haven't had Lee's chicken in a long time. So i decided to stop to get a 8 piece family meal. So I went thru the drive-thru around 6:15 pm on Tuesday March 29th. I placed my order, then I was told they were out of chicken. I was informed they could find out when more chicken would be done if I wanted to wait. I told them no thanks then went somewhere else. Very disappointed.
04.11.2022Almost $18 for a 3 piece dinner/gallon sweet tea...up from $13 2 months ago. Seems to have new greedy management. I won't return. (The chicken is steroid filled and tougher than ever btw)
