On our way back home this morning, stopped to have breakfast at this IHOP. Was seated at 8am and we waited until 8:15am. Not one server came to our table. No they weren’t busy. One server came to the booth in front of us 5 times(yes I was counting) never acknowledged us or anything so we left. I ask to speak to a manager and the young lady looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. Guess we didn’t meet their standards for service.
Visited the IHOP in Evansville today to enjoy the new minions menu. I would like to point out that when we arrived the dining room had about 6 tables. The staff was very friendly. The store was unusually warm inside. When we asked someone about turning on the fans she did not speak English so she had to go get another server. We were then told that the air conditioning is not working, nor are the ceiling fans. It was explained that they were getting ready to move to a new building therefore they were not planning to repair the air or fans. I feel bad for those working here as local heat indexes are expected to be 110-115 for the next week. Makes for a miserable experience
This is hands down the worst french toast I have ever ordered. It looked beautiful on the plate, but after the first bite, the bread was what I would describe as raw and uncooked in the middle. Unfortunately the service was the best part of my meal. I will not be returning with any of my family. Not sure what is going on with the dryer vent going into the ceiling? ?
This place has gone downhill since it opened. The lack service is exhausting. There were 4 or 5 servers and 3 tables being served. I asked for scrambled eggs with cheese, with a glass of oj. It still took over 30 minutes to get my food. They're supposed to be moving to a new location, but I am not expecting any improvements other than new furniture.
I usually have a pleasant and well rounded experience when I dine in. But this last trip really put me over the edge. To start, my server Eric B was the most inconsiderate, slow, non responsive server I have ever experienced in my whole dining career. Secondly there was children running around the kitchen touching everything which put me and my fellow ihop goers unsettled. If I could give a zero star I would.
Got a bite of lunch. Food was ok. Service was good. Only a few people in the restaurant so it was quiet and quick when we were there though that's not always been the case as I've seen it be very busy at times.
Great establishment! Super food Ricardo runs a wonderfully well oiled machine! I cannot say enough great things about this place. 5 STARS Always
Visited early Saturday 3/19/22 first impression walking in, Dirty, smelt of mildew. Woman's bathroom has swollen floor boards along wall so definitely know water leak recently but not completely repaired. Was gagging from mildew smell when I opened the bathroom door and of course only one stall working. Now for the waitress not very polite when greeting. Then proceeds to sing loudly with the music being blared through the restaurant. Music so load me and my husband couldn't hear each other talking across the table. Food had no flavor but was edible. I use to love IHOP for breakfast but, this particular restaurant and food definitely was not worthy of the $65 bill we had to pay. Very disappointed how fast this place has gone down hill in the 2 years I've lived in Evansville. Guess we will be having aftetwork breakfast dates at Dennys from now on.
The service is excellent, the food has come out hot and quickly every time. The staff is also considerate and accommodating within reason.
I absolutely love THIS IHOP restaurant and travel from Kentucky specifically to eat here quite often. It is conveniently located near the Veteran's Memorial Pkwy and also the Lloyd Expressway on Burkhardt Road. The staff are incredibly friendly and actually seem very happy to be there! The food is INCREDIBLE! I get one of two things when I go, omelet of ANY kind or pancakes of ANY kind or a combination of both! I haven't ever gotten anything BUT delicious food at this IHOP.! There is plenty of parking as well! I highly recommend this restaurant!
