Stopped in on a Thursday morning welcomed with great service and wonderful food in a clean atmosphere. Great experience all the way around. Highly recommend.
I love the highland inn! A hidden gem on the north side of Evansville, this place offers everything you need for a great meal and great atmosphere! They even have fun nights like Tuesday BINGO @7pm and Thursdays TRIVIA @7pm put on by BrainBlast! The host is so much fun and makes it a nice game for the whole family! Free to play and great prizes!!Definitely check this place out if you want awesome food, service and fun!
We ordered two 12 inch Strombolis. The filling good, definitely enough for two people. Our other order was a breaded tenderloin and that person said it was very good. The Stromboli was on a hoagie bun, I'll say it was fresh.Service was good. It was a Wednesday. We were there basically for socialize and our timing was good. Not real busy and the waitress kept the tea and coke coming. We had a good time.
We were in last Friday for breakfast and it was delish. We had great waitress, very polite. That’s the kind of stuff that makes our day !!!!! We will be back.
Great prices and good food. You really should try them. Everything was so clean throughout and pleasant atmosphere. Trivia night was fun
Been coming here a few years, mostly takeout. Consistently good food and friendly service. Pizza, burgers, cheeseballs, etc...all good, tried the new roast beef sandwich from the special menu last night, YUM!It can get loud depending on the crowd but never obnoxious (unlike some other places in town I'm sorry to say). You can sit and talk with your wife here, which is what I witnessed last night, couples enjoying their Friday dinner.I'll be back for more, I recommend you give this tavern a try.
Great pizza double top deluxe, not a driving food but I done ok last time I done that I was drunk years ago. Little bit messy but I had a roll of paper towels in the truck. I recommend you try it out sometime
Good food and service. New owner was on site and spoke to us. Nice portions, good menu. The Mile High Club sandwich really was!! lol Mushrooms came with a homemade white sauce that was delicious.
Owner thinks she is a chef. The last time I ordered the 20 oz. Porterhouse steak, it came out WELL UNDER 20 OZ, more like six ounces. What made the order worse, it appeared to have been boiled, not cooked on a true grill. My date had an 8 Oz Ribeye that had the proper weight and look to it...Service can be spotty...Staff isn't attentive and an apology just isn't in the works. Wish Rodney and Paige still opened it. Won't be long, she will run herself out of business.
It was cold inside and the food was cold. I asked for them to warm my open face roast beef up. They brought it back to the table just as cold as it was. Won't go back.
