This place is easy to miss, hidden at the back of the shopping center. Which is a shame, because it's great. The service was outstanding, the food was hot, fresh and served quickly, and the drinks tasty and kept full. Everything we ordered was absolutely amazing and I am not disappointed in this last minute decision to stop here for a lunch break during a long day of work. They also have a nice patio available to eat on.
I wish the part owner would come by and see people who that been customerI use to eat there four times a weekIt is not the same. The special was seven dollars now eight but they do not have the nuber one day time Chill Renllo I can spell today.The owner daughter was in grade school when I started going to eat there now she probably out of high school.The El Patron serves great food.Next time you go there try desert menu.Best Mexican Restaurant since I left Mexico
We went on a Tuesday and every Tuesday they have Taco Tuesday and taco are ONLY 99 CENTS! Less than a dollar for a taco! And it’s absolutely delicious! We did not expect such amazing flavors! The restaurant was clean, service was fast attentive and friendly and the prices were amazing! The margarita was only $2.50 for the lime. We will be back probably every Tuesday!
The staff and owner are extremely friendly, the prices are always super cheap, and the food is always the best. Definitely recommended!
The food and margaritas were fabulous tonight as always. I've frequented this restaurant multiple times and service had always been great too, until this evening. It was absolutely horrendous. It took us after placing our food and beverage order over 25 minutes to get it, no big deal, I get it. However, the wait staff never came back to check on us, we had to go get them, and they were never happy and all of them just seemed irritated. I normally never write reviews, but tonight was horrible service. Did I mention there were only 3 tables when we got there at 4 and, yes, it got busier after 5. Also, there were 4 tables that got served and left before us and got the after us after it got busy. .
This was my first and LAST time to eat here. If I could give ZERO stars I would. The service was horrible. unfriendly people, no smiles we had to flag people down ( even had to walk up to two girls and ask for a drink) only to be told that they were on break “your waiter will be with you in a minute.” We literally had to wait 15 minutes for our ticket. There were four tables that came in after us and left before us. It was ridiculous.
From the moment you walk in till you leave this place will impress you. Quick seating, quick, delicious food, very affordable, great staff, and the owner is always present. We love this place!!!!
Ate here for the first time tonight, and will definitely be back again very soon. Great service, very good food and drinks. Found myself a new spot for Mexican food.
Best Mexican food in Evansville! My FAVORITE place to eat. Super friendly staff, huge portions, cheap prices and did I mention its the best Mexican food around!!
