Alan was our waiter and did a great job. For Saturday night our 50 minute wait lasted only 9 minutes. The food was great. Steaks, Sushi, kids meal, and drinks. All were great. We will be going back. Savanah was a wonderful hostess!
Great food, good beer and great prices
Despite initially having no interest in ever eating here I've found that I actually love it thanks to my daughter's insistence on having my husband's birthday dinner there today. We arrived just a little after 5p on a Sunday and even though they were already extremely busy we were seated in just 5 minutes. The restaurant is really nice sized, has a great layout and a huge bar with big screen televisions above it, all showing different media to include one dedicated to internet cats!!!!! Our Server was excellent and showed up immediately upon us being seated to take our drink orders. He promptly returned with all of our drinks then took our orders which were then presented to us in under 15 mns. He then inquired if we needed anything else and after bringing the steak sauce we requested asked again then confirmed we did indeed have everything we needed. He kept a very good eye on us the entire time we were dining without being intrusive by making repeated and frequent stops to interrupt us. He also presented fresh drinks when our current ones were getting low and brought us boxes for leftovers and To-Go Cups to take our fresh drinks as well. All of our orders were excellent which is the biggest irony of our first Drake's dining experience considering neither my husband or myself even wanted to eat here after viewing their menu online. Just as you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, you also shouldn't judge a restaurant by its menu. My daughter had dined here a couple of times with her grandparents and was insistent on celebrating here because she wanted their Crab Rangoon Sushi Roll. She gave me a piece of it because she ate most of one of my Filets and I thought it was tasty as well. I ordered the Bourbon Glazed Twin Filets Topped w/ Crispy Onions and Broccoli. My steak was cooked perfectly to the Medium I ordered and was melt in your mouth tender and delicious. The Bourbon Glaze was simply everything with its flavor and the tiniest tad of heat kick and the Crispy Fried Onions paired awesomely with it and was the perfect complement. I really enjoyed my side of Broccoli as well since it looked and tasted fresh. My husband ordered the Twin Filets with Broccoli and really enjoyed his as much as I did mine. I didn't think to try a piece of his steak since I was so obsessed with mine but he did say that his Filets were melt in your mouth tender as well and he didn't bother with the A-1 Steak Sauce he requested so his had to be nicely seasoned at a minimum. Drake's portion sizes are really good. My daughter's sushi covered the entire length of her plate and presented with both Wasabi & Ginger. My husband and I both received two Filets (hence the Twin) and our Broccoli was served in a sizable bowl. They definitely excel across the board in their food given portion sizes and taste. Without a doubt Drake's gets 5-Stars along with Two very enthusiastic Thumbs Up. From the quick seating, service, food taste/quality/portion sizes and ambiance they impressed in every area. We'll definitely be returning in the near future.
Went out for lunch on a Tuesday and immediately sat at the bar. Ordered some drinks quickly. After looking over the menu of chicken, steak, burgers, salads, and sushi, we opted for the fried calamari roll and teriyaki chicken sushi bowl. Both were fresh and delish!!
This place was great! Its very kept, and modern. It also was very busy, but the staff was on it. They seated me with no problems and the waiter KT was great. He was helpful in deciding what we wanted as well as being very friendly and courteous. I come across a lot of staff, but he was one of the best. The food was fantastic, especially the fried pickles which so far has to be the best ive had yet. I will say the ranch that came with them added to much vinegar to the meal as the pickles already had the taste. Id suggest keeping the normal ranch. You guys also did an amazing 25% military discount and that alone will keep me returning! Support our troops!!! All in all you guys we're awesome and keep the good work up.
My first time going was on a Friday with my cousin. I went back that following Sunday with my husband. We went back that following Thursday with our son. I guess you can say I love it there. The staff is nice too.
Great food and service too! Seated right away, bar is fantastic!! Spring roll, salads, fried fish and grilled salad - yes!!

We have dined here several times since the Evansville Drakes location opened. In the past we have really liked it but If I am being honest the menu is starting to be me kinda blah. I myself am not a sushi person and I wish they would add new or different items to the menu as an option. Just kind of getting tired of having the same meals here.
