Love eating here. Friendly staff and the fried pickles are the best!
It is father's day and as expected they were busy. No issues there. We enjoy coming here and the food is normally good. It was ok today but the pancake I had wasn't cooked all the way. I already felt bad because there were a few minor things to correct with our order already so I just ate it. Our server take care of us as quickly as she could but definitely seemed a little under pressure with the amount of people there.
Love this place! The staff is amazing. The food is the best and the entire atmosphere is perfect. Highly recommend!!!

Darmstadt Inn is a mainstay in the Vanderburgh Co community. Great tavern food (burgers, chicken breast, fried chicken, pork tenderloins and much more). My favorite menu item is Darmstadt's pizza. You will not be cheated on toppings! The crust is thin and deliciously crispy!
Arrived around 7pm Saturday night after attending CFC service. We actually stopped at a couple other places that had waits or bands [too hard to talk with each other], so we weren't surprised we had to wait for a 4-top about 5 minutes [they also had a help wanted sign on the door]. It was the first time there for my wife and I while our fruends have been there many times before. We looked over the menu of typical bar food. I ordered the cod filet sandwich and tots, while the other 3 ordered catfish sandwiches. Very good, great waiter and reasonable prices. Very noisy as is most establishments of this sort, but plan to go back again and try something different next time.
Wow I felt like I was in a movie from the 80s? This is a cool spot. Btw the prices are also from the 80s so don't expect a fancy chef dinner, but its good ol American
Burgers over cooked, fries under cooked, not suitable for family dining, more like a dive bar atmosphere. (Bar food) sorry use to be good family dining no disrespect just not as good as it was.
I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and fries. The bacon cheeseburger was burnt and I got American fries instead of French fries. The service was good. We sat @ the bar.
Good place to have ethnic German food. The food is good.
