The chicken salad chick‘s really have it going on. 12 different flavors of chicken salad and several combinations of good healthy food choices. Also, the cookies are amazing. The staff was also very genuine and welcoming. Why the best new restaurants in Evansville.
I was skeptical about going here in the first place since their main thing is chicken salad, but my expectations were blown away. The varieties of chicken salad are incredible. My wife loves the sassy scotty while my favorites are jazzy Julie and their spicy pimento. Very good food that doesn't weigh you down like a lot of the greasy options out there do.
Great idea, and great execution. The chicken salad was perfect the two times we went. Lettuce and tomato are available upon request, which I highly suggest. Will definitely go back next time I'm in the area.
Great variety of chicken salad for every preference. I highly recommend the kickin Kay Lynne if you like yours spicy. Clean restaurant with quick and courteous service. Bonus that every meal comes with a tiny cookie.
I had 1/2 sandwich/cup of soup combo. For my sandwich I chose pimento cheese and loaded potato for my soup. The soup was really good and so was the pimento cheese except it was a tad dry. The portion of pimento cheese was very generous. The combo, along with ice tea was only $9 something. I thought the price was very fair for what I had. I'd recommend going there for a quick meal.
Today was the first day that I tried chicken salad chick. And I will have to say it was the best chicken salad I’ve ever had. I don’t remember the name of the one I got but It had sweet pickles and eggs in it also. I got the BLT chicken salad sandwich and I will definitely do it again.
On toasted wheat I really enjoyed the Chicken Salad blt and choose the Fancy Nancy mix that includes Fuji apples, seedless grapes, & pecans. Was delicious. Service was excellant. I taste tested the spicy(jalapenos) Pimento Cheesewas pretty good, not to spicy.
One of my new favorite places, but sad thing is it's on Burkhart road and we live about 35-40 minutes away. They offer a variety of different kinds of chicken salad..see ChickenSaladChick.com for all the flavors, white whole wheat or croissants, grilled if requested, soups, salads, pimento cheese, sides, coke products. I've been twice, and I had excellent food and service each time. While not diet food, it was nice to get a sandwich and side that was not deep-fried. Both times, I've had Olivia's Old South on the croissant and fresh fruit, which was a nice sized bowl of red and green grapes, blueberries, and strawberries. There was the equivalent of 1-2 strawberries each time. But in late Feb to early March, the season is a way off yet. Just wondering if they are going to introduce "tuna" versions, or will that be a new restaurant??? Be sure to give it a try. Clean, orderly, nice staff, good consistent food, and it won't break the bank. Oh, they give you a small cookie wrapped in cellophane that you can eat later...if you can wait. Oh, they offer catering as well.
Tried for the first time and it was great! I got the classic Carol and potato soup. it was very good in portion and flavor was great, it was the most enjoyable meal I've eaten out in a while. I definitely recommend them to everyone!
If you love chicken salad, this is the place to go. The soup was delicious and so creamy. The chicken salad was delightful and full of flavor. Definitely will be back when in Evansville.
