Chavas deserves far more recognition. Tonight I got a burrito and it was huge and so delicious. My boyfriend ordered a chimichanga and it’s a meal the size you would get at a sit down restaurant. The ingredients are very fresh and tasty. Our total was $19 and some change. The price is great and the quality is excellent. I have lived on the north side for several years and am just now trying this restaurant. I have been missing out! It’s absolutely a gem and better and more fresh than Chipotle, Moe’s, Qudoba and Hot Head. Highly recommend!!
Good food. But the place needs some TLC. Torn seats and they chose the worst place to rent out of. The people who own the building don't take care of the parking lot or anything. But the food and people are great. I'd say a bit pricey, but good.
One of my favorite restaurants for take out. I always stop when I’m in the area. Highly recommend the chicken quesadillas!
Chava's always deserves more recognition. I would challenge any north-sider to make this their lunch-spot once a week. The price is good; my chorizo quesadilla with salad, rice, me and drink was $11 total.It can be considered a standard Mexican grill, but I really think the consistency of the place goes unnoticed. The quality is always good. The place is always clean. The cooks/workers are always kind.
I havnt had a burrito this good since I lived in LA. The burritos are huge. Guac is really good. They cook the meats daily throughout the day as they need it.
