Celebrating my anniversary with my wife we had Amy's on Franklin for the first time. Not busy on a Tuesday night. The server was great! I had the Cajun fried chicken, warn it is very spicy, and a great ceasar salad. My wife had the filet and asparagus that were both really good!!
We tried it out due to the high ratings. Poor food and sullen service. Way overpriced. Bar did put together decent drinks.
The staff, food, and atmosphere is awesome. I highly recommend the burger Benedict. They will sub the burger patties for beyond burger patties. It was SO good! Definitely a worthwhile place to go for Sunday brunch. My friends enjoyed the wide variety of whiskeys they had available. I am not a ketchup fan, but the ketchup here is the REALLY good. Took me by surprise.
Food was good! Nostalgic kind of place. No Steak Knives needed at this place. They don't even bring you one. Cut your steak with a regular table knife. I am pretty sure their steak sauce was homemade as is their ketchup! Their ketchup tasted just exactly like I remember as a kid growing up. They make their ketchup, you can even see the seeds in it. We didn't see anything wrong at all with the place. Their ice tea has a unique taste to it. I was trying to figure out what was in it. I think it was a slight mint taste. Great Place!
This is a tough one. I really enjoyed the food, but we waited over an hour for 2 burgers and a chicken sandwich. It wasn't as good as the wait made it out to be. No other real complaints. We sat outside and it was nice but we saw the waitress 3 times in that hour.
Quaint, very modern looking place with excellent atmosphere for casual dining! Brunch menu for today had some eclectic offerings. The pancakes are a MUST try if available! Full service bar and bar seating is a nice touch! Service was very personal and friendly. They have an outdoor seating area in the back but wasn't in use today as it was a bit chilly. Parking lot on the side is a bit smallish (actually just about perfect for the amount of seating space inside) but there's on street parking available as well. Definitely a hidden gem here in Evansville and worth your time and money!
Had a delicious meal here last night. The Delmonico ribeye was great. The salad was awesome to. I love their home made ketchup . The service was also great. The staff are so friendly. The atmosphere reminds me a lot of cork n cleaver. The food equally is good here. I know Steve through a mutual friend and that mutual friend recommended Amy's and I am so glad they did. Definitely will come back.
I've only been to AOF two times so far (one time carry-out, one time dine-in), but I was impressed both times. The food is top-notch, the drink selection is awesome, and the service has been excellent in my experience. There's also a little something for everyone as far as pricing goes. If you're looking to splurge, you can go with a steak and a delicious cocktail or top-shelf whiskey. If you're on a budget, you can go with Jeremiah's Hot Chicken Sandwich and a draft beer. Whatever the case, I definitely recommend giving Amy's on Franklin a try.
Ate early so not yet crowded . Service was excellent and food was yummy.. salad was way above norm. 1st time for a.burger here and it was really good..double smash.
I decided to try something I never ate before and it always wanted to try. The Cubano sandwich. This is the best sandwich I’ve had in my entire life. Everything about the sandwich was perfect. The mustard, the meats, and the bread? Then you bite into the pickle, what a game changer. I am going to write and tell everyone I know how awesome Amy’s on Franklin is. The staff, the food, and the atmosphere? I could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you for a good food and a good time. I will be back.
