Ridiculous wait time due to low staffing. We waited 45 minutes to be seated in the back room with our group of 13. We understood they were waiting for another waitress to arrive. However, there was no reason we could not be seated in the back room. We were very uncomfortable and in the way by the front entrance and the male manager did nothing to improve our situation despite that room being totally empty when we walked back there. We had 4 kids under 10, 2 were 3 year olds it was just ridiculous. We will not be coming back and we visit that area several times a year and treat our kids to meals out while in town all the time.
I try and steer away from chain restaurants. But this morning I just wanted a sit down breakfast. I've seen Perkins all over so I finally decided to give one a try. While it wasn't like Mom's breakfast, it was pretty decent especially considering the price! I had the chicken fried steak and eggs. The coffee was decent also and the service was excellent. Who knows, I may visit another one now!
Who ever this blonde woman is in the ponytail was rude. I could over hear talking badly about all the staff and arguing with a coworker about how many hours they worked and shaming another employee for taking the day off. She said she was gonna make her coworkers next day bad for missing. She was so rude and had no problem complaining about everyone in earshot of customers. I already know half the staffs names just from her complaining. Andrea, Olivia, Anthony, Josh and Danielle im sorry you have to work with such a monster. Hostile atmosphere, I won't be eating here again. Food was amazing but definitely not worth hearing all the negativity.
Food was satisfactory but the service was way slow. Great cookies for the ride home! Manager was very friendly and funny!
We came twice for breakfast just to see Andreea. Had a nice visit, she remembered just how we like things. Have been gone 16 years but she was right on it.
Our waitress was phenomenal and excelled at her job. The food, however, was a disgrace (to say the least). 3 bite-sized pieces (they were incredibly small) of overdone fish, a small portion of fries and a choice of a garden salad, soup or muffin was 10.49. I opted out of the garden salad and side, mainly because it was poor choices to choose from, and ended up half-sick from the meal. The bakery items are subpar to say the least. I highly recommend not wasting your money on them, or this restaurant, in general.
Yummy food , good service, prices very good, Mondays desserts come with meal, went there with family had a great time, I recomend it to everyone.
They were altogether ok, certainly not their best work. The service was good and the food came quickly, but as for quality or value for my money. My "steak" was the size of a pepperoni, and i couldn't cut it with the knife because it had so many veins or meat glue or whatever the heck... Aside, from the tiny disaster of a steak and it being a bit pricey for the portions in general, it was all in all fair. Would i go back..? Prob not my first (or second) choice but i wouldn't avoid them all together from just this one experience.
Food is good. Gives you this home cooked feeling. Oh my my I can't wait to try some of their pies. Next time :).
Overall it just had a very awkward vibe... Why would a restaurant put baked fish on top of mashed potatoes? So gross. And when a customer tells you that it's gross and leaves them on the plate untouched, don't offer them a box.
