Went to Penguin Point on Bristol Street in Elkhart, Indiana for dinner. Ordered $25 of food for 3 people. Only 3 employees there (5:30pm). Two other diners (already eating). Maybe 4 people in drive-thru. Took over 15 minutes to get food. Worker got snotty with me when I asked "When will we get our food?" and she replied " Can't you see we are busy right now?" She gave me a dirty look then walked away from me. She proceeded to ignore me and then finally handed tray of food to me. By that time food was cold. Also they didn't have milkshakes available. The machine was down. This has happened at least 3 times in the last month. This place has gone downhill within last 3 years. No longer a fan.
Sat there for 40 minutes just to spend 46 bucks for 3 meals. 2 orders had small fries when I paid for large. The other order was cold. Probably short staffed because no one seems to work anymore. Strange times we live in?
It was a standard fast food place. It wasn't bad, just not outstanding. The prices were good.
Would give zero stars if possible. Drive through meters don't work, staff is rude, food is not what it used to be
I was in that location today, I walked in saw a young man, sitting at the dinning table, on his phone. He came up to the counter and took my order, witch was a small fry, he ran my credit card, and then he goes to make my order, I said will you please wash your hands he said for what I said that's what you supposed to do, he walked over to the cash register and gave me my money back and told me to leave , I stood there because I couldn't believe this just happened. He told the other two employees not to wait on me. I ask for a manager he said we was the the manager, than I said I need corporates number, he goes on saying he is corporate. This type of behavior has no place for a restaurant. I use to work food service and every employee must was there hands when they return to the kitchen.
I don't ever want to go back to this location after that drive-through experience!I used all my please and thank yous. I don't and neither does anyone else deserve to be treated poorly just because we want to order some lunch and pay for it. Come and courtesy goes a long ways I'm not telling people they have to smile but they could say welcome and they could say you're welcome when you're polite with them. As opposed to talking over you rolling their eyes walking away.It was very disappointing.
01/21/2022 Tenderloin was (Big Wally actually) was put together on the wrong bun. No drinks were available, only bottles of water.
Food was cold,getting smaller in portions & more expensive!!!!! One double cheeseburger one regular cheeseburger one large fry over $10
I have always been a big fan of penguin point chicken. But, tonight isn't the first time I was disappointed. The coleslaw was definitely on the leaning edge of spoiled, and the mashed potatoes tasted kind of tinny..maybe like old refrigerator. And the fried chicken was plausible at best. Not much of a fan anymore. I just miss not having a good chicken place anymore.
I’ve spent hundreds of dollars at this place but not anymore they had the stupid Biden on tv it made me sick,I couldn’t enjoy my food. keep politics out of the restaurant before someone dies from all the Biden lies …morons!
