Not a bad environment. Pretty clean with nice staff. Could have enjoyed the food more. Something tasted off about the wet burrito but the one my husband got tasted normal. Aside from that, the experience was nice as usual. I just realized I never left a review for this location I've been coming to for over a decade. The wet burrito issue happened 3 weeks ago. But usually, about 95% of the time, my overall experience has been good at this location!
They weren't super busy when we went in but our server was incredibly slow. It took 20 minutes for the server to see us. It was 30 minutes after we sat down before we even had water. Then we had to wait for her to finish chatting with her friends to get our check. I watched a couple sit down 15 minutes after us get their drinks and food before us and they had a different server so it was obviously not every table or every server. I don't complain about service but she clearly didn't care.
Ordered lunch and Ewww! (5-5-2021) Already so late to eat lunch so we ordered online to save time. Asked for (2) extra enchaladas and nothing! Yet we got a big tub of ranch. I mean what was that ranch for??? ?♀️?♀️ Ordered chips and salsa but salsa was nowhere to be found. And...... is this a hair on our burrito? Yuck!
The food is fine, but Jennifer is hands down the poorest excuse for manager I have EVER encountered. Brother-in-law called ahead for seating, when we arrived before them we told Jennifer that it could be under 2 possible names. She asked "ugh, well did you get a text"? She was clearly irritated that she had to search 2 names. When she found it, her response was "ugh, you are 32 minutes into a 45 minute wait time. You need to go back outside and wait til the time you were told." Her tone, her clear irritation, her unpleasant demeanor are absolutely everything you don't want in a manager or a hostess, especially a manager acting as hostess. When I then asked "for what purpose do we have to go wait outside in the cold?" Her answer "because that's how we do it, now you need to go wait in your car." She did not appreciate it when I matched her poor my attitude to hers, in fact when I mentioned that her attitude was horse**** her response was "we don't appreciate that".Well, I don't appreciate being treated like a second rate citizen by an unprofessional manager on a power trip.
Had a great dinner. Wait wasn't long. Shout out to our server Whitney ?Ordered the black bean wet burrito and street tacos. The street tacos came with 3 sauces.
Waited forever for anyone to acknowledge we were there. Finally got seated and was hopeful our server seemed to have it together... however that was short lived. Ended up asking for a check after half an hour of not even being able to order anything but ranch and cheese. And even then our cheese was only partially full. Never came back with a check. Threw some cash on the table and left. Don't even waste your time.
Had a good meal. Food came out quick and saved room to split a mudslide. We got the mozzarella sticks for an appetizer and they were pretty bad. Ever time I get them they taste so rubbery.
My mom took me to celebrate my birthday like we do almost every year. We were greeted immediately and after making sure there was a clean table, we were seated in a booth as we requested almost immediately. The waitress was courteous and helpful throughout our meal and we did not have a long wait for our food once we ordered. Since I know some Spanish, I was able to order in Spanish without having to worry about not being understood, which was a relief. However, I was disappointed that they no longer have frozen peach margaritas and it has gotten so pricey that we could not get desert or a birthday cake like we used to do.
Food was good, but 3 of us asked for water to drink and it was salty, like ocean water salty. When we told our waitress this she didn’t seem surprised. I guess this must be a common occurrence at this restaurant. Also, I ordered a margarita when we sat down and didn’t receive it until I was almost finished with my food.
Menu was changed from how it used to be. Ordered a burrito with potatoes in it and instead of the normal red potatoes there were french fries in it. Totally gross and the waitress didn't mention the change that had happened when we ordered. Had to reorder it without french fries and then found a hair on the burrito after eating almost the whole thing. Most likely won't be visiting here again. Only good thing there was the margarita.
