Had their guacamole dip and steak street tacos.The service was fantastic, checked in at regular acceptable intervals. We were seated immediately at about 4:50p.m. on a Wednesday.The food was excellent. It came out fairly quick and was delicious all around.Atmosphere is really fun and colorful. We sat in the main dining area, so I can't speak to the bar area.Definitely will be coming back here again.
Very nice place, I had the signature tacos and they were delicious. The flavors were amazing, food was served hot and even though the restaurant was full, we had great service.
Great place for lunch. The quesadilla with fajita veggies and chicken was perfect. Friends had street tacos, fajitas, taco salad and elite corn. Everything was delicious.
I really enjoy Don Jose's Mexican. On this visit I had the Signature tacos ( again) and the Cactus salad, with the Pepino margarita, which had such a fabulous fresh cucumber taste.
This is by far the best Mexican food you will get in the area. I can't believe anybody would even consider comparing this to El maguay. El Maguay would be about 2 and a 1/2 stars for me and this is definitely a 5. This was a very pleasant surprise tonight and I'm happy to have a new restaurant to go in Elkhart.
When you walk into this restaurant your immediately captivated by the bright colors and amazing smells. We were immediately greeted and sat on a slower night for the restaurant. Our server was attentive and always smiling. She was so polite and excited for our first visit. She had several recommendations and was eager to explain in detail any menu items we had questions about. The drinks were delicious and the food was immaculate! Full of flavor and beautifully presented.
First time there and I was fairly impressed! The decor was awesome, the staff was friendly and helpful, the food wasn't to die for but certainly was way above mediocre. I would label it as very good and I'm pretty picky. The big beers were BIGASS beers! The other complaints about the slow service are null anymore because I went at a busy time and I think I was served in a timely manner. I had the "street" tacos, they were delish so I'll definitely be back to try lots of other interesting offerings. I'm definitely recommending this restaurant to everyone. This ain't no Taco Bell kids, it's the real deal.
Amazing authentic flavor. Cool atmosphere and music. Friendly and attentive staff. Nice looking bar next to family dinning room. We ordered the fajita taco salad and the fish tacos.
This was a great place to eat. They were extremely busy but the servers for hustling. The drinks for good and the food was excellent. We will be back.
The place is beautiful. Very simple and elegant. We didn't wait long. Everyone was very polite. Our server in the bar was awesome! The slush machine wasn't working properly (which was totally fine) I'm not much of a drinker anyway , but he made me a concoction of his own free of charge.? He heard it was our friends birthday and by the end of the meal they sang and treated us to dessert. It was a great experience.
