Lunch date with husband, third time we've been here. I tried the Italian beef sandwich was loaded. My eyes popped out practically when I saw it. Beef was a little dry and not tender to my choice some people my like it thick. We tried the fried pickles they were delish. They weren't the little coin ones they were wedges crisp on outside and juicy in the middle. Have to go again to try something else.
Winfield has been missing a gyro place, and now there’s one available. I visited within a few days of it opening. The service and food were good. I’ll definitely be back.
My husband and I ordered out. He got a gyro and it didn't have a lot of meat...kinda greasy. I had a grilled chicken with mozzarella cheese only and was pretty good. Overall not a bad place. The owner or manager needs to be present. A bunch of young kids work there and they seemed frazzled at times and confused but we're very nice. If they had someone there to guide them I think it would help them out. Also noticed that the floors weren't vacuumed and we got their around 1pm. It shouldn't look like that when they just opened up? Hope this helps. We need more good restaurants in this area.?
For what it is, I give it 5 stars. Fast service, good prices, large selection of items, and two funny twin kids. I got the Philly Steak, no gross meat good fries.
My brother and I went here yesterday, and it was fantastic! There can be a little bit of a wait depending on if it’s busy, but it’s because they put actual care and effort into making their food. We’re excited to go back soon!
Really good quality meat! I got the gyros and my husband got one of the beef sandwiches and we both really loved it. We will definitely be coming back!
EDIT: the owners or managers need to be present it’s just a bunch of kids. Where are the owners?So glad this place opened, we are from the chicago area and my husband loves a good gyro. Food was delicious.
Honestly was worried with some of the lower star reviews but I went last night picked up 2 gyro dinners and an Italian combo. Gyro was really really good. I'll be going again. I was handed the wrong order initially and had to drive back is the only reason not a 5 star from me
The take out menu isn’t accurate. Not that great customer service and they forgot part of our take out order. We ended up having to drive there again to get the rest. No apology for the mess up either..
I had a Gyro & French fries. The fries were very good the gyro was okay.
