Update to original: still consistently great food but they've made a few changes over the last year that make me go less often. The pork fried rice recipe has definitely changed. I much preferred the full flavor version instead of this "cleaner" recipe. Also it's not the standard side in a combo any longer. I dislike forgetting to upgrade to pork fried. A few combo options that I regularly ordered are no longer available as a combo too. Lost a star and some frequency, but didn't lose a customer.Original 5 stars: This place is great. The pork fried rice, fried dumplings, and egg rolls are always top notch. Been going here several times a month over the past decade and they've never messed up an order. Quick, delicious, and good value
Used to love this place, but unfortunately the prices have gone up and the portions have gotten smaller. The original small size is now the large, and there is virtually no meat in whatever you order. The cashew chicken was all onions and celery, maybe a piece or two of cashews and chicken.
Kids and were looking forward to having this. We’ve never had any complaints and always liked it but today’s food was pure onions and no meat!
Food smelled good at first but the texture of the meat wasn’t right. I was so disappointed. The seafood soup needs to be taken off the menu. The smell of the imitation crab made me gag. It was a waste of money. The only thing I was able to eat was the shrimp fried rice and their kinda stingy with the shrimp.
I stepped in this joint with my girlfriend to place an order to-go. We ordered two Roast Pork Egg Rolls, a Chicken Rice Soup (Pt), Sesame Chicken (Qt) that included White Rice, and Beef Fried Rice (Qt). He said it would be about ten minutes. We sat down and waited for the food, since it was going to be quick, and what do you know, it takes about five minutes! This place is super fast! I was amazed and pleased at the same time, as I was almost hunched over in hunger. We ended up pulling over down the road to eat our feast. We just really couldn’t wait any longer. The Roast Pork Egg Roll was alright. It wasn’t too special. I wouldn’t want to eat another. The Chicken Rice Soup was really good. They definitely didn’t cheap out on the rice! The Sesame Chicken was awesome! The sauce made the Chicken for me! I’m glad I chose that specific Chicken. The White Rice was good and even better with the Sesame Chicken’s Sauce poured over it. The Beef Fried Rice was decent for the most part. The Beef was cooked right. I just hated how there were peas and carrots. The Rice was fried nicely. The portion size was pretty dang big it seemed. It came in a unique box.The service was good. We weren’t rushed and he told us when our order was ready.Overall, I really liked this place. It’s a bit of a drive from me, but on certain days, I think I’ll be craving that Sesame Chicken!
Prices have gone up a ridiculous amount. Not just a little but several dollars on the entrees etc. Would not mind so much but now they are putting more vegetables than meat in their meat dishes. I realize everything has gone up but for what they are now giving you it’s not worth it. Will have to find someplace else to go in the future.
I've called this place 3 times to make a order, they rudely hung up on me. They don't deliver, why would I want to pay grub hub $12 for delivery fee when I can give that to your driver..girl answered the phone with an attitude, if you don't like your job then quit you lazy terd.
Lord is MSG here. The orange chicken is quite tasty until it hits you two hours after. My hands always swell and I finally figured out why...
My goto for American Chinese. Was out of Teriyaki Chicken once so I would recommend that they keep up with demand, but the best in Crown Point.
This is the only Chinese place I go to, the food is absolutely amazing and the staff is so nice
