Food was good and the taste was the same as it’s been for many years. I was a manager at the Muncie location for many years and love finding Pita Pit’s to go to since they’re hard to come by.Service could use some training, the 4 there an hour before close yesterday didn’t seem too thrilled with the amount of pitas to be made between some in the drive thru, delivery, and a couple of us inside. I also asked to do a custom Souvlaki pita as they have recommended toppings for them all which came out years ago and I knew. It unfortunately wasn’t rang in as a custom and they just made it at the other end not confirming we didn’t want any customizations still. Since mine was thrown together and I don’t like half the stuff I had to have them remake it letting them know it was a custom - they both were but they hadn’t started the other yet. Since mine had to be remade I didn’t get onions or cheese on the grill like I would’ve liked because they put my chicken on the prep station area for the sauces and veggies to be scooped by hand into my pita (at least he was wearing gloves to scoop up the chicken) - the meat should’ve just been left for 2 more minutes on the grill. It was a little disappointing as I hadn’t gotta Pita Pit in awhile just moving back in the area.
Food is decent enough but they are so incredibly slow. Doesn’t matter if you order ahead or not, they just keep you waiting.
Delicious food & very friendly employees but definitely understaffed when it comes to the drive-thru. Two people in line behind me received their food before i did & all i ordered was a one pita…
The service is very friendly and the food is made fresh. Their pitas are delicious.
First time trying it never again, meat is frozen they just warm it up not worth the wait as well2 star for the friendly staff

This place is amazing! Very fresh and great food! If your in a rush I wouldn’t eat here because they take a little while. I recommend their Baja Chicken Pita make that toasted. They have different varieties of food. Good job Pita Pit!
The food is good when you can actually get it I work at a business and go here for lunch and I only get a 30-minute lunch and every single time I have been here it is taking me over 30 minutes to get my food and I've actually had to pull out of the drive-thru and go back to work without even getting my food because it takes them so long to get your order done. Very disappointing
Worst meal and service ever for a fast food place. I can't believe it cost 14 dollars for a 40 minute wait drive thru. I don't even want to give them a star. The pita itself was over cooked bread as well as the hummus and pita bread. They had no drink and I was wanting a drink with a combo but I reluctantly backed down and chose just to get the thai pita with side of pita and hummus. At least you could have given a coupon or something for that bad service. However, I refuse to come back.
