It was our first time ever here. We were greeted with a warm smile and when asked about food selections and/or favorites we tried what the hostess recommended. I have never eaten salmon that tasted so good ever before. My wife had the fish and chips and said it was tasty. Hats off to the chef! Brandi L our waitress was very accommodating and attentive. Extra water, extra napkins, checked on us but not too frequently but just enough to make us feel important. We’re coming back!
I went here for lunch recently with a friend. We both thoroughly enjoyed our food and had very good service. I had a shrimp bao bun and the not McRib sandwich. Both were very good.The menu was unique and interesting. If you’re tired of all the chain restaurants, then this is a perfect option. I will definitely return and you should too.
New Yorker passing through gives it 10/10. Was planning on going somewhere else but was so happy we stumbled here. Asked for a local beer and Zombie Dust was served. Was great paired with my turkey club. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. Wish we had one close to home. Great vibe, staff, and food. You’re doing things right One 13 North, Cheers!
The food and service were fantastic! The Bao Buns are the best food in all of Northwest Indiana, lead by the fearless The General Bao, attacks taste buds and satisfies hunger with the skill of a ninja. Can’t recommend enough. Perfect place for a date night!
Had to give it 2 stars because our meals were pretty bad. I had the chicken Sammie and my husband had the rib sandwich, both came with fries. The chicken sandwich has no flavor and the rib sandwich was just pure fat and had no flavor as well. The fries were absolutely awful, cold and stale. Literally felt like they took old fries and just threw them in the microwave.The waitress was very sweet so we felt bad complaining and didn't want to give her a hard time. The restaurant should definately work on fixing their recipes. The only positive on the food was their soup, probably the best soup I ever had! Other then that they need to work on their food options.
This place is amazing ! Service is beyond ! Alexis is our server ! She had the best recommendations on menu items ! We will be recommending all our friends and family to dine here ! Such a nice vibe !
My mom and I came in randomly for lunch and we were pleasantly surprised with the menu and the food. Everything down to the tater tots was exceptionally tasty, and the cook even came out to check on how we were enjoying our meal.The bartender Sam was friendly, quick and very helpful despite being busy. I would recommend the food and drinks and will definitely be back!
My husband and I had never had a bao bun before but holy moly are the addictive and delicious!!!! A flavor explosion in your mouth! I wish the happy hour extended to to-go orders or was specified on their posts because we wanted to try all 4 buns but couldn't justify spending so much money on them when if we ate in they would only be $10. We tried the pork and beef and they were so delicious!!! We will now be planning a day to eat in and get to enjoy the bao bun happy hour plus more menu items!! Do not snooze on this restaurant!
Food here is always fresh and unique. Chef uses seasonal ingredients and fresh herbs grown on site.Good beer and cocktail selection.I love that the menu changes and they have unique vegan/vegetarian options.Salads are amazing, homemade tater tots and you can sub a Beyond Burger for the sandwiches.This is one of my favorite places to eat in Crown Point. I have never been disappointed. Good service too!
If you're looking for a place that has great food and even better vibes then this is the place to go. We sat outside in the back patio and when you are taken back there it feels almost like a speak easy. Loved it.. The employees Sam and Brook were extremely friendly and provided us with excellent service. All around 10/10 and will continue to go back! Highly recommend!!
